“On arriving at the property it was raining quite hard, we noticed there was a leak running down the inside wall and back being the gas fire which had an electric ignition, after getting our luggage in, I decided to ring the owner to tell him of the leak, which i did, sadly we had no response from the owner which meant we were unable to use the gas fired log fire which would have been great.”

We have stayed in a few properties in Saundersfoot and sadly we would not stay here again. If you have mobility issues it would not be suitable and there is no wheelchair access, it was also not the cleanest of places as i found out when i closed the blinds in the bedroom, i (Mr) wiped the blinds over with some kitchen roll and you could tell they hadnt been cleaned for some time. There is an external light which helps when you got to the front door but if you are walking home the lane down to the cottage is quite dark so you have to watch your footing. It took quite some time to pack up all the bedding, towels, cushion covers and bathroom mats so you need to get up early on the day you are leaving, we actually left a day early so we wouldnt have to rush to do that. On a scale of 1 to 10 i would say this was a 6, it is all about personal choice i appreciate that it just wasnt as nice as other places we have stayed in in Saundersfoot. Being unable to use the gas fire and the ceilings being really high it was hard to keep the place warm even though we turned the thermostat up high.
