  • "An amazing little place, far enough away from the town but close enough for all the sights."

Railway station just next to cottage but didn’t hear the trains at all. Comfortable and all the essentials provided. Would definitely stay again.

  • "Little Bobbins gave us a great location for a week away."

Good beaches closeby and you can walk to Saundersfoot. Turning right out of the drive is tight and the property is right on main road and train line at the bottom of the garden but that didn’t bother us too much. The property didn’t fully match the description - for example things like it’s semi detached not detached (although we didn’t see or hear the neighbours once), photos had curtains but the property doesn’t have them in place now, just blinds which are ineffective for summer mornings and evenings. Not sure the double room is a King size bed and as a family of four (three adults and one child) we think the space was ok for us but might be too small for a group of six. The property is well equipped but the cleanliness was poor, we had to clean a lot of the kitchen utensils before using them (took photos when we arrived) and some of the equipment has seen better days. We enjoyed our stay but didn’t match the rating for us and feel the property needs some updating and maintenance.

  • "The property was not clean to a satisfactory standard."

Examples (we did take photos on arrival if these would be helpful): there was lots of food and crumbs in the cutlery drawer and the shower had lots of black mould around where the cord attached to the wall which washed away in lumps when the shower was pointed at it). There was no hairdryer available in the property and the dining chairs were not fit for purpose (the legs got caught in the thick pile rug so the chairs were difficult to manoeuvre and the swivel function added to this difficulty: desk chairs don't make good dining chairs).

  • "Comfortable and well appointed property,it had everything you needed."

One slight complaint the shower room could do with some attention particularly the shower itself. Can be a little bit noisy what with the main road outside the property and the train line at the end of the garden.

  • "It was a very impressive place, especially given the price."

Sure, we could have done with another tea-towel, it's a bit of a walk from Saundersfoot, and you can hear the cars in the morning from the double bedroom, but those are the only (mild) criticisms. It was spotless, welcoming, well-furnished and a decent size. And the proximity to the railway station actually served us really well, given that our car broke down. It was very easy to get out to Pembroke to see the castle, and to Tenby to admire the town and walk the coastal path. Top stuff.

Great clean property with lovely facilities in a good location with Saundersfoot Station literally across the road. When we next visit Pembrokeshire & I am sure will, we will definitely attempt to book Little Bobbins.

  • "Lovely week at Little Bobbins."

The cottage had everything we needed. Really well stocked kitchen. Beautiful garden. Saundersfoot is a beautiful village. We had great meals at Harbwr and Periwinkle Bistro.

  • "We had a wonderful holiday, home from home, comfortable and spacious."

Our daughter struggles with sensory difficulties and she can take a long time to settle in a different environment with noise, smells etc. She had the best time. Completely relaxed and especially loved the large garden to play games and use up lots of energy. Fabulous base to visit many beautiful surrounding areas, we look forward to returning in the near future, highly recommend, just be a little cautious driving out of the property as there is a bend in the road and some people drive to fast!

Well equiped and a great location for exploring the area. Decent sized garden with decking.where we enjoyed the trains passing by. They were neither noisy or intrusive, just fun. Looking forward to returning next year.

  • "Fabulous stay in the cottage."

Some of the previous reviews might have put us off, however the reality was excellent. Owner visited to make sure everything was okay. The property isn’t in Saundersfoot centre however very quiet, set away from the road. Lots of days out all accessible ranging from 5 to 20 mins. The beach at Coppet hall was lovely. The house has everything you need, beds comfy and all mod cons Definitely recommended

Home from home. New gate makes access much easier. Great location for your south Wales holiday.

  • "Access poor."

Needs rehung gate. Rope balustrade to stairs dangerous if not illegal. Shower floods. Horrible little step outside front door, easy to trip over. Location stated on property details misleading, definitely not in Saundersfoot. We met Marjory which was nice and am sure she is aware of some of this. Otherwise nice property.

Just one remark access in and out of property with car be aware blind corner bottom side of main road Rd traffic could do with a concealed property sigh slow down something the owner and local council could discuss. Otherwise great stay.

We enjoyed the sunny kitchen/diner, the enclosed outdoor space, with the novelty of an occasional train at the bottom of the garden, as well as the ample bedroom storage. The kitchen was really well equipped, and the beds were super comfy. Well situated for the beautiful Pembrokeshire and Carmarthen coast, with lots to see and visit. Thank you for a perfect stay!

  • "Little Bobbins is a very comfortable and well appointed cottage."

The space is tastefully furnished and it had everything we needed for a short stay. Location is great for visiting Saundersfoot, Tenby, and surrounding area. If you have a young child just be aware the stairs are quite steep and there is a rope banister so just have to watch them coming up and down the stairs. We would recommend and would stay again if back in the area.

  • "The “what to bring” list needs updating for this particular cottage."

We were left 1 toilet roll for a weeks stay. Had we known, we’d have taken some from home instead of having limited expensive shops to purchase from. There were no dishwasher tablets provided and this was not on the items to bring list either, again we’d have brought some from home. The washing machine needs a deep clean, the detergent drawer and the door seal were quite dirty and needed cleaning before putting our baby’s clothes in to wash. Other than this, the cottage was perfectly equipped for us and as described with plenty of space for baby and us. The train line is surprisingly close but didn’t bother us at all.

  • "Lovely cottage but the road was a bit noisy."

There was a train line at the bottom of the garden which was a surprise but quite a novelty and it wasn’t very busy, the advantage was the station was really close by which made getting the train really convenient to go to Tenby etc. A parasol would have been nice when eating outside. Overall the cottage was very well equipped with a lovely fridge/freezer with a water and cubed and crushed ice dispenser, the TV had Netflix and it was very conveniently situated to access the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. The ad says no dogs, but dogs are welcome and they even provide dog bowls.
