    The property id an a great location, the facilities are comprehensive , with very clear helpful instructions,which would make it ideal to visit at any time of the year. With the open plan lounge/ dining/ kitchen setup it means that there is always an opportunity to to take in the wonderful veiws of the bay.

  • "Our second visit to Bayside and it was just as wonderful as first time."

    Property owners provide everything you could need or want to make a stay perfect. Excellent cleanliness standards and facilities great especially for my mother who is in her late eighties and walks with a stick. Lovely welcome pack and postcard. Nothing was a problem . Definitely will be back very soon.

  • "Super well equipped and stocked house."

    Good hosts with a generous Welcome Pack.. Excellent location but be aware of the lack of a guaranteed parking space.

    I do apologise for the misunderstanding about the parking at Bayside Cottage. I have contacted Sykes and asked that the information relating to parking availability there be edited immediately. There had been some confusion in their communication and my original information. Somehow this had been amended incorrectly by the company themselves. I have always stipulated parking is roadside on the main road in front of the cottage with the Dyke in front of Bayside available for loading, unloading and disabled access only. There is one Public Disabled parking space on the main road near to Bayside as well. Apologies again for any inconvenience and confusion. Property Owner

  • "First class accommodation."

    Very well equipped kitchen. Plentiful supply of coffee, coffee pods and teabags. Welcome tray with wine, crisps and biscuits. No complaints at all. Excellent location with perfect scenic view. Would thoroughly recommend.

  • "Property was lovely, beautiful views and with every imaginable kitchen utensil and gadget."

    (though strangely no teapot or milk jug) -Beds were comfortable and showers excellent. Outside area could be better with more appropriate dining furniture. We would loved to have booked again for next year but the price has increased significantly and tbh, although excellent and well worth 5 stars, it is not worth the new amount being asked.

  • "This is our second stay at this beautiful cottage, we wanted somewhere comfortable, warm and with a kitchen that could provide everything we needed to prepare a Christmas banquet."

    We got all of this and more, waking up to the views of Findhorn bay I will never tire of and only wish it were an everyday experience. The beds are super comfortable, bathrooms have fabulous showers with plenty of hot water and having the log burner in the lounge is just an extra treat. The owners are excellent communicators and I love the welcome tray of goodies they provide. All in all we had a super time, just wish we had booked for longer!

  • "We have stayed at this cottage for a number of years now, and it feels like our 'second home'."

    Lovely and cosy accommodation with a very welcoming wood burner too. Superb location and stunning views across the bay. Whatever the weather the bay is very photographic. It's a good base for touring Moray, Speyside, Aberdeenshire, West coast (northerly) and up to the top of Scotland. The owners are lovely and friendly, easy to contact if need be. Well recommended by us.

  • "Stunning cottage great location and provided everything we needed."

    A warm welcoming note and treats greeted us on our arrival. The decor was stylish spotless and very comfortable. It was a home from home for us with the beautiful view across the water taking our breath away. We were with my elderly parents and I was using crutches after a fall but getting about cottage was easy and everything was accessible. The cottage is close to all amenities. 1st visit hopefully not our last.

  • "This place is incredible."

    The cottage itself is immaculate has every thing you need for a relaxing stay in idyllic surroundings the views are superb. The hosts Moira and Peter communicated very well with us, the welcome tray was the best welcome tray we have ever received. The whole place has been well thought out affording everything a holiday maker needs to ensure a relaxing time and making everlasting memories its almost a world of its own you can do nothing but relax when in the cottage and viewing the beautiful surroundings from the living room window. Three friendly pubs within easy walking distance as well as a short walk along the bay to the beach, get yourself down there on a morning and watch the seals relaxing on the beach or go for a walk in the local forests you will not be disappointed with anything bayside cottage and Findhorn has to offer.

  • "Bayside Cottage was one of the best cottages we have stayed in."

  • "We have stayed at many cottages in Findhorn over the years, all I must say all were excellent, but Bayview Cottage we felt was the best overall experience ."

    The main reason for this was the layout , the room with the “View” had views from the kitchen area at the rear , the dining area , and the lounge areas ( all one room ) . I would also say that this was the most comprehensive in its offering of anything required to use when there from cooking utensils, cleaning stuffs, a warm utility area to dry off any washing if the weather was inclement. Nice outdoor space to enjoy when the sun shone. The owners were also very helpful , from their instructions pack , on all appliances, the welcome pack, and very quickly resolved a small issue with the heating. thanks Lynne & Ken

    Everything that you could possibly need in the home is there and clear instructions in folder how to use all appliances and recycling.Have stayed in this home numerous times and it’s just a delight to stay for our holidays.I would recommend this home for all it’s just a delight.

  • "We have visited Bayside many times and it truly is one of the best situated, well equipped, clean, spacious and comforting holiday lets you could find."

    Everything you could ask for for a home from home, holiday experience along with some lovely, personal touches from the owners is provided. The views are second to none and the recent upgrades to the property make what was already the perfect getaway even more special. Also, in our opinion, you won't get better customer service than you do from the owners of Bayside. The perfect holiday home in the perfect location!

  • "Loved everything about this property, from the beautiful view over the Forres river to the very well equipped kitchen and bathrooms."

    Comfortable bed, the one we used! Agree with owners, wardrobes could be updated, but did the job and clothes storage was more than adequate.

  • "Bayside was a delightful stay, such a beautiful setting looking out over Findhorn bay."

    The cottage has everything you could need, super comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen, fabulous showers and quality furnishings. We were toasty warm with the central heating and log burner fire, which had a plentiful supply of wood. Our check in was easy and communication with the lovely owners was quick, friendly and responsive. We will definitely be returning, we visit Findhorn frequently and have stayed in various accommodations but Bayside is up there with the best.

FINDHORN

Kinloss 3 miles; Forres 5 miles; Elgin 13 miles.

Findhorn was at one time a very busy fishing port, and still preserves its strong connections with the sea today, with much of its village life centred around the bay, and fantastic sailing and watersports opportunities available with the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club resting on the waterfront. Its scenic location and gentle climate, influence by the Gulf Stream, make it a desirable destination. It is perhaps best known for being the home to the world-famous Findhorn Foundation, with its Ecovillage and international centre for holistic education. Findhorn boast two pubs, two cafes, an organic bakery and a local store, and is well placed for visiting the many pretty ports and villages nestled along the Moray Firth coastline. The Malt Whisky Trail can be joined close by and the Cairngorm National Park can be found within an hour’s drive. The hub of the Highlands, the city of Inverness, is just 25 miles to the west, and is well worth a day trip, where you will discover its historic buildings and atmospheric NT Culloden Battlefield.
