  • "We had a lovely break at the Honey Pot Retreat."

    The accommodation was extremely clean and had all we needed. The beds were the most comfortable we have had on holiday for a long time. Our only thought was, as the property does not cater for children, perhaps changing the two single beds for a double may be useful. For us as a couple travelling with my elderly mother, we gave her the double as she would have found the narrow single difficult. The two shower rooms were a bonus. We would return to the Honey Pot again should we stay again in the area.

  • "This is high quality, 5 star accommodation."

    The facilities were exceptional, so relaxing and comfortable, we will definitely be returning. The accommodation is very well located for Great Yarmouth, Gorleston-on-Sea and other places. The owner was very helpful and could be contacted anytime. We stayed to relax and wind down and the site was really quiet and well kept. It was lovely to have a cafe and gift shop on site along with a golf course and horse stables.

  • "Excellent accommodation."

    The Barn 1 bar and restaurant has restricted opening times even though the notice boards say open daily from 9.30. We wanted to eat there on Tuesday evening June 16 and it was closed. We were informed that it only opens all day from Thursday to Sunday.

  • "The Honeypot retreat was absolutely fantastic- it was spotlessly clean, spacious and beautifully decorated."

    The beds were so comfortable- we slept really well.. There are some stunning walks nearby- we walked along a path at Burgh Castle and the views were breathtaking. We had breakfast one day at Barn 1 which is within the grounds- and would highly recommend that too. We used the redwings coffee shop which is within walking distance. We also visited The Bell pub at St Olaves and The Priory for food- both of which are nearby and also deserve recommendation. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough- it was warm, cosy and welcoming and the hosts were really helpful and accessible when we had questions.

The Honey Pot Retreat is a woodland escape at Caldecott Hall Country Park in Fritton near Belton, Norfolk.

With a selection of on-site facilities, as well as great amenities and local walks, this abode is ideal for friends, or a couple looking for a getaway to Norfolk.

Be welcomed into a light and airy open-plan living space where a well-fitted kitchen offers all you will need to cook up a storm from local produce, and you can toast to your holiday at the dining table.

The sitting area is a stylish space to recline after the day's adventures, with the added ambiance of an electric fire.

When sleep calls, freshen up in the shower room and settle down into one of two bedrooms, choosing between a double with en-suite shower room and a twin.

The holiday site is a fantastic location for your stay, offering facilities such as golf, a clubhouse, cafe, restaurant, and bar, and a short distance away you will find many pretty walks through the countryside, including those at Fritton Lake Country Park and the Norfolk Broads.

Belton is a small, yet pretty village resting in the English county of Norfolk.
