  • "The house is well located in a quiet spot on a new estate on the outskirts of Halesworth."

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and everything looks new and clean. Nice that the basics were supplied - soap, loo rolls, coffee pods etc. The only thing was lacking was somewhere to hang coats in the hall - would be good to put some hooks up. Thanks for a great stay.

  • "An excellent base for exploring the local area."

The property is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is well-equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and other items. Everything looks brand new (or hardly used), including the beds which are very comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues which we raised with Best of Suffolk and which have been passed on to the property owner.

  • "A lovely new house on the edge of a new estate."

As a result it was very peaceful and quiet with very little passing traffic. Very clean throughout and beds were very comfortable. As others have said a set of drawers in the main bedroom and a wardrobe/rail in the 2nd bedroom would be a minor improvement. A 15 minutes walk gets you to Halesworth village with a good mix of shops, pubs and bakeries. A 10 minute drive to a large Co-op supermarket. 20 minutes to Southwold and its lovely beach. 40 minutes to Norwich. In fact the property is perfectly positioned to explore much of what Suffolk has to offer with loads to see and do all within a 40 minute drive. Kitchen had absolutely everything and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Could have done with a wooden spoon and a grater, again a very minor gripe. The only real let down was the garden which consisted of weed-strewn long grass and some overgrown beds. Cushions for the outside chairs would have really helped. Such a shame. Thankfully when we stayed the British kept us inside most of the time.

  • "Smart, well appointed and comfortable house let down by the garden."

Hanging rail or wardrobe in the second bedroom and drawers in the main bedroom would be good. Property is well placed for exploring the local area.
