The family resorts of Oulton Broad and Lowestoft are at the most easterly point in Great Britain and are situated on the Suffolk coast close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border. It is home to some of the finest Blue Flag beaches in the area and has a range of attractions for all of the family. From the traditional Victorian Seafront Gardens to the modern roller skating rink at Claremont Pier and Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, the town has something for everyone. Lowestoft has a good selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars whilst its maritime heritage is celebrated with a number of attractions including the floating 'Mincarlo' museum on Heritage Quay or the recently refurbished Lowestoft & East Suffolk Maritime Museum.
