  • "A cosy and well equipped cottage."

Such a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

  • "We had a good stay at the cottage."

Unfortunately when we arrived the cottage was inundated with blue bottle flies. We could not get rid of them, and could not work out where they were coming from. There was quite a bad smell in the kitchen, again we couldn’t locate where from. We had to go out buy fly spray and air freshener specially. The fly situation probably went on for about 3-4 days each time we went out and came back there would be another load of flies? Eventually we managed to get rid completely, but we could never quite eradicate the bad odour in the kitchen…. Apart from the above we had a nice stay, it was a bit annoying there was no washing machine or brush. Other facilities were very good.

  • "Lovely cottage, great location and lovely garden."

Not far from great beaches and historic villages. Well equipped cottage with a lovely nespresso machine. The only thing I would have liked is a broom to sweep up every now and then. The traffic noise is quite high but it didn't spoil anything. The dog had a great time as well.

  • "The cottage was just perfect for us & our four legged baby."

We all loved its quirkiness & the fabulously wonky upstairs floors. A good & honest description of the property was given..its proximity to the road & the steep stairs! Honestly would not change a thing. Thankyou

  • "Hello it is a beautiful property and the standard of finish quality of the fixtures and fittings and generosity of amenities is not to be complained about at any level, it’s a lovely cottage with real character and very very cosy."

The only Issue we have had is that for a summer cottage where you want to be in the garden it is not clear enough on reading that the cottage is just inches away from an extremely busy and noisy road. If you want a winter break and will be holed up by that fabulous inglenook fireplace then you will have a fabulous break.

  • "Generally clean but quite a few cob webs which we know can easily appear also noted that there may be some wood termites in the kitchen as noticed some debris which we noticed on the floor, otherwise lovely stay and would high recommend."

  • "An absolute little gem, this property is in a fantastic location surrounded by fields, although close to the road you wouldn’t think you were, so quiet and peaceful."

The fields are well thought out with the paths around the edge our dog loved it. The property itself is really quirky and cosy, everything you could need and the bathroom is fantastic. One little moan about the low door frame into the lounge, maybe it can be highlighted some way. Highly recommend this property

  • "V good small but well equipped cottage."

Kitchen had everything you needed and a cosy lounge with log fire was perfect for a winter break. We had no hot water on our first evening but management company were quick to respond and someone was on site in the hour and fixed the fault .

Settled into six acres of private grounds, The Cross Wing enjoys off-road parking so that guests can unpack with ease.

Be welcomed into a charming sitting area where a woodburning stove rests within a bare brick feature wall and, combined with wooden beams throughout the property, ads an air of history to the space.

Grey cupboards and a contemporary red Smeg fridge contrast with the traditional feel of the property to offer a wonderful kitchen/diner with a specially commissioned handmade bench, as well as access to the pretty garden through double doors, opening up onto a lawn and patio, ideal for dining alfresco and watching the sky turn to stars with your significant other.

As the evening wears on, enjoy a soak amongst the bubbles in the bathroom before settling down for the night into a king-size bedroom bursting with character.

Peasenhall boasts a selection of countryside walks, with picturesque views and plentiful wildlife, and there is a selection of cafes where you can enjoy a cup of tea and homemade cake.

Sample local produce in the village’s independent shops and stock up on essentials at the local convenience store.

For history lovers, a visit to the close by village of Framlingham is a must, where the spectacular castle awaits exploration and romantic picnics can be had in the grounds.
