  • "What a wonderful cottage!"

    ! Would highly recommend. The cottage is a home that could be lived in and not just for a few nights. It has almost everything one needs. From baby cots, to stair gates for the toddler and a highchair, fresh bread and eggs that saved us for breakfast on our first morning there. Firewood and kindling. The kitchen is very very well equipped, plenty of cutlery and crockery, as well as baking equipment and casseroles. I was even able to blend a soup!!! The only thing that I could think of that would be a great addition, is plastic bowls, plates and cups for the little ones. As already mentioned, safety equipment is available for them, as well as toys in the kids room. The emergency torches, although not required, are a fabulous idea. Thank you to Rob for accommodating us and keeping me informed of some maintenance that was taking place on the land while we were there. Which didn't bother us in the slightest. Amazing stay and would definitely stay again when visiting Norfolk. Thanks again!!

    The kitchen had everthing you could need. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfotrtable. The hosts provided a selection of lovely treats including bread, eggs and croissants meaning breakfast was sorted for the next morning. A fabulous base for lovely walks and trips to Norwich.

    They are to short for adults. This needs to be made clear in the online description. Otherwise the house, facilities are ideal, well decorated, very clean, very comfy beds.

  • "Lovely property in an area which has lots of local attractions to visit which the whole family could enjoy."

    The cottage was clean,comfortable and well equipped for our needs and the assorted food parcel on arrival was very welcome. My only feedback which I believe would be of benefit to future guests would be to review the 9.30am departure time, which left us feeling pressured especially given we had 2 infants and a 4 year old in the party and it made the end of our holiday quite stressful which was a shame. Other than that constructive comment we had a great holiday and I would definitely recommend this property to others.

    Plenty of space. Really clean and lots of facilities, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend. Everything was clearly labelled and there was a handy book so you knew who to contact if needed. The welcome pack (bread, eggs, water, milk etc) was a lovely touch, as was the bedroom full of toys for our little one!

  • "We had a fabulous stay at Well cottage."

    The house was so clean and the furnishings were excellent. We were three generations and the house was perfect for us all to get together and the dog came to! The garden is fully enclosed when the gate is shut and the patio gets the sun all day. There was plenty of room for us all, the kitchen/diner is lovely. We didn’t want to leave and will return. The village of Seething is lovely and quiet but well positioned to get to lots of different places around Norfolk and Suffolk.

    The little extras, like fresh bread and eggs were a nice thought. The cottage was warm and welcoming with fresh and good quality furnishings and bedding. There was plenty of crockery and cookware. Rob (owner) came first morning to check all okay and to let us know he was on hand if we needed anything.

    The house exceeded our expectations and I would definitely book again in the future. Seething itself is a lovely village, close to all that Norfolk has to offer. If I had one gripe, it would be the 9.30am check out, to have the beds stripped, breakfast things washed up and the bins emptied etc it makes for a very early start on departure day.

    Only grumble was that the beds were kitted out with winter weight duvets with no alternatives. Also on Sykes website check out was listed at 10am - but there various notes around the house saying strict 9.30am departure - so bearing in mind we had a small child left the afternoon before. House very beautiful and setting lovely if not a little isolated but again we should have done more research.

    Everywhere was spotless and well maintained. Only slight niggle was the Nespresso machine, which we couldn't get to work and the note in the log burner saying it was not to be used (which was over-ridden by Rob the property rep.)

  • "All four of us thought the cottage was lovely, clean, spacious with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms."

    . We had everything we wanted for a very comfortable stay.. It was situated in a very quiet and picturesque location. It was like home from home and we were very happy with everything.. We would have liked all the information that was in the handbook before we left for our holiday, so we could have had some information about the house beforehand, oh and there was only one egg cup!! otherwise excellent... Thank you......
