  • "Fantastic experience throughout, booking, arrival and departure."

Amanda was always available if needed. Having stayed in many caravans over the years theres no other word to describe this home other than stunning. Spotless throughout, not a spec of dust/dirt anywhere, homely, comfortable and had everything you need and more for a great break (Beds super comfy!). A Good and quite location on park with parking nearby. added touches such as cleaning products, hoover etc all a bonus. Lots to do onsite for the Kids including swimming and entertainment and takeaways available. Supermarkets local, perfect for a self catering break. This was a real home from home and provided our family with a much needed break. Will defo rebook, Thanks Amanda ????

  • "Great caravan!"

Everything you need. The living room has a closing door so if someone sleeping on the pullout you can get up in the morning and have a tea in the kitchen without disturbing them. Lovely big bathroom and big walk in wardrobe. Plenty of utensils. 10 min walk to beach over the bridge, (but it's just a beach, no food places) take aways nearby, Aldi, Costa, Greggs. 14min drive to Hastings seafront. We didn't buy the passes for the entertainment but there's so much to do in Hastings we didn't feel we missed out, plus we have friends who live in St Leonards so we spent time with them. We were really lucky with weather for April so we had a great weekend. Tip: We have a shoes off policy at home which was also a must for the caravan as Hastings has lots of dog poo! Even when it's been picked up there's blobs everywhere you go. There's a really nice chip shop called The Catch 2 min drive from the camp and obviously much cheaper than the seafront. Would definitely recommend and hope to return next year.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so glad you enjoyed yourselves, we'd look forward to welcoming back! Property Owner

  • "This is the 3rd time I have stayed in Amanda's caravan, this time just me and my husband and I love it, can't wait to book again once the dates are out."

The caravan is clean with everything you need, even an airfryer has even been put in place now. There is a large patio area with garden furniture in a locked unit outside, which is lovely to relax when the sun is out. The caravan is at the bottom of the park, which is great as it leads out onto the road where all the amenities are and is walkable to the beach if you cut through the road under the bridge to the left. Aldi is a great bonus as you can do a local shop. Definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you once again Amanda for letting us stay in your lovely caravan.

  • "Just had a lovely 10 days staying in this beautiful caravan which is really a home from home."

This was our second stay in this caravan and once again it did not disappoint. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you will need. The caravan is nicely located. The site is well maintained and kept clean and tidy. The on site shop is well stocked but we did tend to use Aldi which is a 5 minute walk if you use exit at the back of the site. There is a regular bus service to Eastbourne, Bexhill and into Hastings Town Centre. The beach is about a ten minute walk however you do have to use a footbridge to cross the railway line, once on the beach you can walk towards Hastings or in the other direction to Bexhill.

  • "I stayed in this caravan last June 2022 and came back this month for a few days 26th to 29th August with my husband and mother."

I cannot fault this caravan. It is the cleanest caravan I have actually stayed in and I have stayed in a lot over the last 5 years. There is everything you need to enjoy your stay and also the owner has left cleaning materials in the kitchen, so there is no excuse not to keep it clean while you are staying there. Outside is a large patio area with sun loungers, parasol, table/chairs for when the weather is good, which it was excellent when we stayed. It is at the bottom part of Coombe Haven and has easy access to the local Costcutter and also there is a large Aldi store, Greggs and Costa. Amanda, the owner of the caravan is very helpful and will answer any questions you have. I will definitely be coming back next year. Thank you Amanda for sharing your lovely caravan with us.

We stayed here for the weekend on the 16th of September until today the 19th of September I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful this caravan was it felt like a home from home we have a 8 month old little boy and there was a travel cot and High chair which saved us some much hassle from trying to bring everything we needed with us we are looking to return already thank you so much for a lovely break x Sharna

  • "We had a marvellous holiday in this beautiful caravan which is very much a 'home from home'."

Very well equipped with everything you need and more and spotlessly clean. We had stayed on the site previously so were aware that it is very hilly however this caravan is located on the lower part with pedestrian. access through the back gate and a few minutes level walk takes you to Bexhill Road. There are 8 steps down from the area where the caravan is located down to the car park (has a handrail). If you go out of the rear exit of the site to Bexhill Road you will find the bus stops for the frequent service to Hastings, Bexhill and Eastbourne however the buses do stop running quite early on Sundays. You will also find a fair size Aldi, Costa Coffee, Greggs and an Indian takeaway/restaurant. However if you want to use the swimming pool, music venues, site shop and the restaurant you will have to climb a very steep hill but once you have done 'cardiac hill' everything is all in the one area and of course it is downhill all the way home. The caravan park is very well kept and clean we didn't use the music venues but did eat in the onsite restaurant twice and the food was very good. If you are coming by train it might be as well to book a taxi in advance to take you to the site and ask for Bexhill Road entrance to the site by the Jet filling station as there were no taxis on the rank when we arrived at the station. We took the 99 bus as we are familiar with the bus routes. We would definitely recommend this caravan and hope to book again for next year.

  • "First would like to say our caravan was lovely, very clean, comfy beds, everything we needed and more ."

The price we paid was also very reasonable. Now the negatives, the site is so hilly, no good for people with walking difficulties. We was with our son wife and grandson, they were staying in a haven caravan, the swimming pool was over crowded, we had to book a time, which didn’t matter. It was freezing cold. Literally nothing for under 5’s. And being on a steep hill, we drove everywhere on site . Sorry we would not return . Sadly not the site for us

Thank you for your kind review of our caravan Also the feedback on Combe Haven site, we'll pass on your comments to the management team. Unfortunately it is quite hilly so not really suitable for those with walking difficulties, We hope you still enjoyed your stay Property Owner

  • "Stayed here for the Jubilee weekend arrived Thursday to Sunday ."

The caravan was lovely with doors on each room to close off the lounge/kitchen/hallway if you wanted to. It was very clean and tidy and had everything you need for your stay. The kitchen has separate oven/grill, large hob, separate fridge and freezer and even a washing machine. The main bedroom is large with an array of wardrobes/cupboards to put your clothes and belongings in, which then led off to a wrap around bathroom including separate shower and bath and was not cramped like a normal caravan. There is an outside storage shed which had table/chairs/sun loungers and as we had great sunny weather came in very handy. Although there is no balcony there is a large patio area to have bbq and put your sun loungers. Amanda the owner was very informative and kept in touch up to the day we went to the caravan and was always on hand if there were any problems. The location is near the bottom of the site which suits me as we go out of the gate to the local shops Aldi, Greggs, Costa which I don't think many people are aware of. The beach is approximately 10 minutes walk or you can take the car and drive into Hastings or Bexhill which is only a short ride away. I am definitely coming back to this caravan in the future. Thank you Amanda for letting us have the chance to stay at your lovely caravan.

  • "Just spent 5 nights staying here."

The caravan is very large and spacious so much storage available. Very clean when we arrived, good size kitchen with a fridge and separate freezer as well as 2 ovens and a washing machine. Beds were comfortable the walk in wardrobe was fantastic to hide the suitcases in and still have plenty of room for the younger ones to take their selfies in the full length mirror ????. The pictures on this site really doesn’t do the caravan justice it’s a beautiful caravan inside and out. Location is ok if you do not have mobility issues however there is a very steep hill to walk up to the main site attractions so be prepared to give your legs a workout! Plenty of outdoor chairs and sun loungers to use. The caravan is in a sun spot so when the sun is beaming great place to catch a tan. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again. The owner is very good at communicating and quick to respond with any queries you may have before you arrive and whilst your there.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, so pleased you enjoyed the caravan, we look forward to welcoming you back =) Property Owner
