  • "This is a lovely cottage and I really enjoyed my stay."

Picture postcard setting and a good location for exploring the area. The host could not have been more helpful. Thank you.

  • "Beautiful cottage."

Quiet and relaxing. The Aga was an issue. It took over 2 hours to warm up the plates and even then it wasn't hot enough to cook on. We tried again the next night but the oven was Luke warm at best. Also the bedroom needs curtains as by 5.30 am it was daylight and impossible to sleep. Otherwise a very pleasant, comfortable stay.

  • "We had a lovely week here with glorious weather which of course makes everything just beautiful."

There is no table inside so eating outside in the beautiful garden was great. The owner generously allows access to the whole garden which is a haven for book reading and lazy lunches. Road noise can be an issue during the day but never a problem at night.

  • "We only stayed 2 of our 3 booked nights."

The photo,s are very clever but do not prepare you for the cramped space. Kettle and toaster in living area floor, our camping days are well behind us and this did not live up to expectation. We could not face a 3rd night in such cramped space so we cut our losses and headed home early

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We strive to provide an accurate representation of our space through photos, but we understand that the layout and size may not have been a good fit for your preferences. We genuinely appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration as we work to improve the comfort and convenience of Sandrock Springs. We hope you will consider giving us another chance in the future. Property Owner
