Nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and surrounded by rolling countryside and open skies, the cottage offers a refined yet relaxed escape that feels both grounded and indulgent. Designed to make the most of its setting, the layout places the sleeping accommodation on the ground floor, creating calm, private spaces to retreat to at the end of the day.

There are two king-size bedrooms, each beautifully finished and benefitting from their own en-suite bathroom, complete with a bath, shower over, basin and WC.

Both bedrooms also feature Smart TVs, offering comfort and privacy for couples, families or friends sharing. The first floor is dedicated to social living and relaxation.

Here you’ll find a light-filled open-plan space combining a kitchenette, dining area and inviting sitting room.

The kitchenette is thoughtfully equipped for light self-catering, while the sitting area offers a welcoming place to unwind, complete with a Smart TV and a sofa bed that sleeps one adult or two children, allowing the cottage to comfortably accommodate up to six guests. Outside, Oak Cottage enjoys a private enclosed garden patio, designed for unhurried outdoor living.

A hot tub provides the perfect place to relax beneath the stars, while outdoor seating creates a quiet spot to enjoy the surrounding countryside and slower pace of life. Guests staying at Gower Retreats also have access to a luxury outdoor rustic spa experience, carefully designed to sit in harmony with the landscape.

Facilities include a state-of-the-art sauna, hot tub, cold-dip plunge, and private tennis courts, offering a balance of restoration and gentle activity in a truly tranquil setting. Additional on-site amenities include the bar and restaurant, along with the beauty salon and spa.

For walkers and nature lovers, the Wales Coast Path runs through the peninsula, offering miles of clifftop routes with panoramic sea views, while quieter inland paths and country lanes wind through farmland and salt marsh, revealing a softer, more peaceful side of Gower. History and heritage are woven into the landscape too. Just 3 miles from Gower Retreats, Weobley Castle sits on the edge of the Loughor Estuary, its evocative ruins overlooking wide salt marshes and tidal waters.
