  • "We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and will definitely return as it was ideally located for fishing on the Conon and access to beautiful countryside and coastal walks for us and our two dogs."

Very secure front garden for the dogs and all the furniture and fittings appears very new. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom shower was very good. Local shops close by with a large supermarket in Dingwall a few miles away. Also good value for money.

  • "We had a great stay here, the cottage offered everything we needed in a great location."

Our only downfall would be the master bedroom bed is unsteady and the slats would pop out when we rolled in bed etc in the middle of the night which was loud and annoying.

  • "I was disappointed, that so many things in the cottage were broken: the cooker hood did not work, the washing machine probably had a bearing broken, a kitchen chair was broken leaving us only three chairs."

The clothesline in the garden as well as the box to keep the pegs were broken. We had only three small plates and four spoons. The sofas were worn you could hardly get up from them. There were no chairs in the bedrooms to put your clothes on. The cottage was not very clean, massive fumes came from the oven, that was extremely greasy as well as the racks and trays and other cookery. The garden was a poor sight, the hedge overgrew the gate leaving you wet when passing, the flowerpots on the sills were dried and those at the fence on the floor and only "planted" with weeds. The location next to a quarry was not very quiet, heavy traffic taking place. Farmers worked in the adjoining fields even at night. Not worth the price.

  • "Lovely warm clean pleasant cottage in a nice quiet surrounding."

Enjoyed our stay but unfortunately had to cut it short due to my wife not being well for our stay. Small downfalls or would have been a 10. Instructions supplied by Sykes to find the cottage we're totally wrong wasting over an hour trying to find and knocking on doors before phoning the owner. Overpowering smell of curry lingered in kitchen. Had no access to WiFi as password required, I send a text to owner requesting if password available, but got no reply. Otherwise a book within property with wifi password written down would have been helpful. Ref toaster when you use the left side nearest the smart meter it trip's the mains power. Right side worked fine so made do.

  • "A lovely cottage, well presented, nicely decorated, comfy beds, spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed for a relaxing break."

Only negatives we found the sofa uncomfortable, and we could not find and instructions to operate the appliances so had to guess. Overall, we would stay here again

  • "Very clean with excellent facilities/ very spacious cottage Living room: Clean and tidy with lots of space, the sofas were perhaps a little worn as we needed to adjust the cushions each evening but I do understand investing in brand new furniture is risky."

Kitchen: Again, lots of space and all the amenities you would need. Bedroom 1: again lots of space. comfortable bed, perhaps another chest of draws required? Bathroom: was fine clean Parking at the front. Good base to plan day trips from.
