Loch View is a lovely house near Bosta beach on the island of Bernera, Isle of Lewis.The property has a woodburning stove, stunning loch views, and an open-plan, ground-floor living area, making it perfect for families or groups of friends on a scenic retreat in the Outer Hebrides.

When you enter Loch View, you'll find three bedrooms: a ground-floor double with an en-suite (including a bath, shower over, heated towel rail, basin, and WC), another double, and a twin room.All rooms are tastefully decorated.There's also a shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin, and WC.

The heart of the home is the open-plan living area, with its underfloor heating and woodburning stove.The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing home-cooked meals to enjoy at the dining table.The utility room has a tumble dryer and washing machine for added convenience.

Outside, you can enjoy the fresh air and take in the tranquil surroundings.Whether you're starting your day with a cup of coffee or ending it with a glass of wine, this outdoor space is sure to be a favourite spot during your stay at Loch View.

The Hebrides are a paradise for nature lovers, with wild and remote landscapes, whether its red deer, golden eagles, otters and seals.Looking out to sea, you may spot orcas, basking sharks and dolphins.

Lewis and its neighbouring islands are renowned for their stunning beaches.Enjoy a picnic, Loch View provides all the extras and visit Bosta, less than a mile away or travel futher afield to Harris, famous for its beaches especially Luskentyre, Seilebost, Huishinish and Scarista.

The island of Lewis has a host of historical sites, the ancient and iconic Callanish Standing Stones, which predate Stonehenge.Carloway Broch an Iron Age structure over 2000 years old.Lews Castle a perfect day out, explore the museum and grounds, and stop off for lunch at the on-site café and finally Arnol Blackhouse a traditional Lewis thatched house which gives an insight into how life once was on Lewis.

Treat yourself to a meal out, try Uig Sands which specializes in fish and shellfish (bookings recommended), or as a alternative try the popular Italian in Stornway called La Balena.

No visit to the islands would be complete with out visiting one its distilleries, Stornway Distillers with its innovative gin making or Abhainn Dearg Distillery (pronounced Aveen Jarræk), or Red River in English, is a craft distillery located in Uig on the Outer Hebridean Isle of Lewis.
