  • "Great property but a little tired in places and requires maintenance (patio door lock & door latch to kitchen)."

Mattress in main bedroom has generally had its day and quite uncomfortable. Overall a good stay.

New lock to be fitted on patio door and a latch on kitchen door! I will check the mattress and replace. Hope you enjoyed the snow. Richard and Sally Property Owner

  • "Had a fabulous time, the house is amazing and so is the Snooker room, we were very impressed with the decor."

Only one problem a member of our group is in his eighties and has problems with arthritis and he thought the chairs were not comfortable for him. There was one chair that looked really comfortable but the was in the Snooker room. Apart from that the house is lovely and clean and well maintained and we have booked again for next year.

Many thanks for the feedback We will see if we can find a more comfortable chair for next year! We can always bring the chair from the snooker room down Regards Richard and Sally Property Owner

  • "E are group of old school friends visiting another school friend who had just moved to Wrexham ."

We had a fantastic time , loved the big communal kitchen which was well equipped. No en-suites but three bathrooms . Two sitting rooms was a big plus and the big log burner kept the colder ones extremely happy . The view down on Wrexham was fabulous and three rainbows in three days was spectacular. We loved meeting the farmer and his dog so kind of him to pay us a call to see if all was ok . We would all strongly recommend and May use again . We all went canoeing over the via- duct which was excellent and brought a beautiful memory of Autumn sun in Wales on the lock . Thank you for everything

So glad you all had a great time and that you were able to enjoy the local area Most welcome Regards Richard and Sally Property Owner

This was a great cottage to stay in we were 8 adults and there was everything that we needed for are stay the only down thing was there were no hooks on the back of the bedroom doors to hang things like a dressing gown or a towel after use, the farmer that owned this property came every day to check his sheep and was very friendly and chatty

Hooks now fitted to the doors! Many thanks for the comments Richard and Sally Property Owner

  • "Excellent, spacious, comfortable accommodation, well located with an 8 minute walk to the quiet village (and it's friendly pub - King's Head) and within easy reach of many local attractions."

We used it as a base for walking sections of the Offa's Dyke Path from Porth-y-Waen to Prestatyn with reliable taxi transfers (by Wrexham Prestige Taxis) to the start and from the end points of our daily walks. Also recommend Chirk Castle as a place to go. Overall a very successful holiday.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves and took the opportunity to visit the may places in close proximity to the farm Hope to see again soon Sally and Richard Property Owner

  • "This was quite possible the best holiday we have had in the UK."

There is so much scenery to explore and beaches like Llandudno and Conwy which are all within a good driving distance which is just right for 2 young kids and a dog. But the property itself and the garden is so nice that you could quite happily stay and enjoy the scenery there. Perfect for kids and dogs, snooker room was great at night time for the adults to have some fun aswell. Shops and butchers all nearby with a nice pub in the local village. Can not recommend enough and we are already planning our next visit for later this year. 10/10!

Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of the weather in the garden! We agree it's a lovely place to stay never mind the area! Hope to see you again Many thanks for the positive comments Regards Richard and Sally Property Owner

  • "Lovely place, amazing location and views."

Gorgeous garden. Property is lovely inside - all the rooms. We were 7 adults + a dog If you like cooking and plan to cook a lot Kitchen is a bit small - but great large table for meals (can sit 8 easily) But Electric hob is not good to cook on, bring your own pans - really hard to cook well on old electric hob with thin old pans. There is an old BBQ outside but we didn't get to use it. Other issue is WiFi. Good signal in the kitchen - 99% useless everywhere else. Big problem for us. Boiler broke while we were there but it was fixed very quickly. The heating is phenomenal. The boiler gets the place warm very quickly. 3 bathrooms. And a great games room that we didn't use enough! New hob New pans New Wifi Router + Extender Then we will be back! Magical location and beautifully done inside.

  • "Great cottage but some refinements needed."

The pots and pans are not up to standard. The need to use a bicycle tyre lever to ‘unlock’ the door to the ‘boiler room’ area beggars belief. The showers stopped supplying water several times during use but this may be beyond the control of the owners. We found the WiFi was poor away from the kitchen area but we discovered the boosters were not in synch with the router. Very good after giving it attention. The double-bed mattress in the end bedroom had seen firmer days. Apart from this all was well. Thank you for the use of the property.

Sorry to hear that you have had so many problems The pots and pans will be attended to The door to the boiler room is never locked-the bicycle tyre lever is a "quirky " part of the house! We have not had a problem with the water over the last three years but we will monitor the situation Similarly with the Wi-Fi but thank you for your help The mattress is only three years old but we will see if it needs replacing Property Owner

  • "The property was perfect for our stay of 2 families & a little dog."

We had a great time, stayed for 4 nights and went on wonderful local walks every day. Super fun evening on New Years Eve at the local pub, King's Head (only 5 minute walk away). Games room was excellent and the house was very spacious. There are no shops in walking distance (2 min drive away) but we brought everything and the house was well equipped too. Would recommend

Thank you for your feedback and hope to see you again Property Owner

  • "We have just had the most beautiful stay cae adar farm we stayed Friday till Monday, the cottage is absolutely perfect it had everything we needed the pictures just don’t do it justice."

There were 7 of us kids and a dog and it was so spacious the garden is amazing and we had the lovely weather too so got to enjoy the garden. We all had the best sleep while we were there as the beds were really comfy. We loved the games room. It was only a 5 minute walk to the pub, the kings head, we went there twice and had a meal there on the Sunday, the food was lovely and the staff there are amazing we couldn’t fault them they were so helpful. We would definitely return to Cae adar farm we actually can’t wait to book again. Farmer Jeff was also a really lovely man and helpful to let us know we’re to go.
