  • "We've just had a wonderful 3 night stay here in Anglesey, our first trip away as a couple without our son in 9 years and it was exactly what we needed!"

The cottage was comfortable, clean, homely and very well equipped, with absolutely stunning views that honestly, the photos don't fully capture. Waking up to the mountains and countryside each morning was so peaceful. The location was perfect for us too, only around 5 minutes by car to Beaumaris for shops, cafes and plenty of dog friendly places to eat. Penmon Point is also well with visiting for the incredible views and the Pilot House Cafe. There is also a Morrisons daily just over 5 minutes walk from the cottage and some beautiful walks on your doorstep with breathtaking views. The owners has only taken over the property 3 weeks before our stay and had just returned after the bank holiday, they are such a lovely and accommodating couple. They'd already ordered a brand new TV replacement after noticing the previous picture quality wasn't great, which really showed how much they care about guests having a good experience. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would happily recommend it to others looking for a peaceful, relaxing Anglesey retreat.

  • "Amazing views overlooking Snowdonia."

Such a wonderful location away from the hustle and bustle but only a short drive to Beaumaris town. This accommodation had exactly what we wanted. Peaceful, comfortable good location and private parking off road. Good size kitchen, lots of lovely goodies for us on our arrival. Really comfy kingsize bed and good shower. Handy porch to put all your shoes etc in.. I would say that the huge TV in the lounge is a little too big given the small lounge, and the angle of the sofa. But that is not a negative, just an observation as you could not see the tv from the other chair. We could walk the dog easily, there is a local small Morrisons 5 minutes walk away. Other supermarkets were a bit further afield, but we could get basics. Plenty of places around Anglesey for eating out, and lovely walks and interesting historic sites. Lots of dog friendly places and also places for gluten free food (pleasantly surprised). Seaside village of Moelfre had an ice cream parlour with GF cones and a cafe with decent GF cake. Beaumaris has quite a few pubs and fish and chip shops. Visited the castle - very interesting and well maintained. This was our first time in Anglesey but we loved it, despite the wind (!). Would definitely recommend this property for a couple and a dog.

The property

Eryri View Retreat is a beautiful detached cottage adjacent to the owner’s home that is peacefully located on the edge of Llangoed, on the Isle of Anglesey.

With country walks all around and paths leading to the Menai Straits and the Anglesey Coastal Path, this pretty cottage offers quality accommodation for walkers and cyclists, or just a romantic break away from it all.

Stylish and well-presented throughout, this lovely cottage enters through a boot room into a spacious hallway, which opens into a cosy sitting room with a cosy fire.

Move through to the large open plan kitchen / dining area, complete with high quality appliances, equally ideal for a romantic meal for two or a social evening for four.

Upstairs you’ll find the elegant bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, bespoke fitted wardrobes and skylight that offers those incredible views and fresh air.

Wake up feeling renewed, energised and ready to explore the delights of the surrounding area.

Outside this attractive cottage there is a lovely private area with lawns and decking for you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the location and soak up dramatic views and changing light throughout the day.

Well behaved dogs are welcome and a small secure fenced area is provided next to the cottage but dogs should be kept on a lead in other areas due to livestock.

There are plenty of beautiful walks to enjoy right from cottage the doorstep.

There is so much to see and do in the area.

The UNESCO world heritage site, Beaumaris, offers a fine example of a medieval moated castle.

There are also quaint independent cafes, restaurants and shops to discover as well as a world class golf course.

From here you can also take wildlife boat trips to Penmon Point and Puffin Island, where you might spot seals, guillemots and as the name suggests, Puffins!

There are also a number of beautiful beaches within easy reach whether walking or driving.

Slightly further afield, the cottage also makes the ideal base for easy access to Snowdonia National Park and Yr Wyddfa herself.
