    Of cleanliness and the facilities from the kitchen diner up to the bedrooms with the very comfortable beds. Sitting out the outdoor patio area was very relaxing and enjoyable. The cottage is situated in a central area to visit the areas of interest. we had a very relaxing week at in the area.

  • "Millside View is a lovely, cosy cottage."

  • "Absolutely loved this property."

    It’s charming yet modern with lots of lovely touches. The property is over 3 floors, kitchen and balcony on lower level, living room and single bedroom on the ground level and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. The beds and furniture were comfy. There were tvs on every level and a projector in the master bedroom. The views over the canal and countryside were outstanding. Especially from the balcony and dining area. The property was clean and cosy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. My kids aged 16 and 11 were very happy here too Had everything you could need in the kitchen. We couldn’t locate the thermostat and Sykes were brilliant but the owner even more so at helping us locate it We love local towns Skipton and Haworth but fell in love with Farnhill. There is a canal side cafe within walking distance which was also lovely Can’t recommend this place enough

  • "The cottage was all we expected, and more."

    Spotless throughout, well equipped, lovely and warm on arrival. The welcome pack, dog treats and dog towels were a lovely touch. The location was perfect for a spot of running and walking along the canal. Certainly would recommend this cottage to friends and family. Great little find.

  • "Millside in Farnhill is a lovely property, very clean and tidy."

    It has everything you need and the beds are really comfortable. The location is fantastic looking over the canal and with lots of walks from your doorstep. We walked along the canal and walked to the pub for food which is a 6 minute walk away. We also walked to Cononley and caught the train into Skipton which is only 1 stop away and we caught a bus back, was really easy and Skipton was lovely. I would recommend this property and we look forward to going back maybe in the spring or summer but also nice in November for a relaxing weekend away.

  • "This is a beautiful cottage in an amazing location."

    The owners were so good they let us rearrange the dates due to a funeral. The property has everything you need and has a great lay out. The bedding is amazing a must for me and the decor is top draw. The canal walk is fantastic and if you don't like hills is perfect, but is very close to the bigger walks in the dales. The pub down the road does superb food and the owner is very friendly. Overall cannot recommend this place more great stay with the family some stayed close by in some farm pods.

  • "This is a lovely cottage in a great location."

    We really enjoyed the walks along the Leeds-Liverpool canal. The beds were very comfortable and it was warm and clean. The kitchen could do with some oven proof dishes to bake.

  • "A lovely canal side cottage walks from the door."

    A few self catering kitchen essentials missing, instructions for cooker, no tea towel or oven gloves, no ovenproof dish had to buy one, microwave on very high shelf which could be dangerous lifting out hot dishes. Lovely walks Bolton Abbey, Burnsall to Hebden nice tearoom at old schoolhouse. Not suitable for less mobile due to stairs.

  • "Millside view was a beautiful property which overlooks the canal."

    Sitting out on the balcony enjoying the boats coming past was a joy . As we don’t usually book houses that take dogs it was spotless.Owners are lovely and extremely helpful. We hope to be back in the near future.

  • "Had a lovely 4 night break."

    The cottage was so beautiful, luxurious and very clean. The beds were so comfy. The balcony was fantastic and the views over the valley and canal are superb. We really enjoyed our break and walks along the canal path (took about an hour and a half to walk to Skipton). Skipton is ideally placed for public transport links if you need to use trains or buses as we did, and we enjoyed the scenic train journey up to Carlisle. Also had a nice meal in the White Lion pub in the village. Would happily stay again.

    If you would like a short stay our a long stay you must book Millside View it is one of the best we have stayed in its a nice village with a nice pub and nice walks along the canal you can get the bus 66 to skipton no need to pay if you have a bus pass

  • "I would highly recommend Millside View."

    Clearly the owner has given a lot of thought and attention to creating a luxurious and very contemporary holiday cottage, with lots of lovely decorative touches. Everything we could wish for was provided and frankly, we couldn’t find fault. The beds (a king size, a double and a single across 3 bedrooms) were very comfortable with luxurious bedding. The outside decking space overlooking the canal was fab providing great views over the Aire Valley. A very comprehensive guest information book is provided giving lots of useful guidance on both the property and local area. A final of many positives, the street outside is narrow but we had no problem parking close to the property for the duration of our stay. To close, we also highly recommend booking a table for dinner at The White Lion in the village. The food is very good as is the beer and the landlord is indeed very friendly as the cottages information book states.

  • "Superb cottage in amazing location."

    Fantastic views. Great local pub, walks in either direction along the canal (we walked the 5 miles to Skipton one day and it was fantastic views all the way!). Two great cafes within 5/10mins walk (one next to church and one a bit further along on canal). Would definitely visit and book Millside View again.
