"A very clean cottage in a good location to all pubs, shops & places of interest."
Lounge comfortable, kitchen is tiny but there is everything you need in there. First floor bedrooms both decorated lovely and comfortable, decent sized bathroom with good shower. Access to the attic bedroom very dangerous in our opinion, the stairs are extremely steep and the handrail was wobbly and flimsy, the stairs to the attic were so steep it was almost like climbing a ladder, we had to come down them either backwards or sideways, not good and we felt was a real fire hazard if one needed to vacate the attic bedroom in an emergency! My sister and her husband stayed in the attic and they said the beams were low and it was cold. I would recommend this cottage for 2 or 3 people but not for 4 people, we personally don’t think the attic should be used as a bedroom, but for a couple of people the cottage is great, clean & comfy and just 5 minutes walk to the bottom of Main Street.

"Great cottage."
Excellent location
Super assistance from Joanne when needing advice on turning the gas fire on(!)
Tricky access to top floor but fun for kids
No room for separate freezer so a bit restricted for shopping
Overall very good and deserving of the Sykes rating

"The cottage was clean and the beds were comfortable."
However we only stayed for 4 nights of the 7 we booked. I just wish the owner had responded to messages sent regarding the inaccuracy of the listing through Sykes. We have a young active dog so we booked the cottage as it was listed as having a rear courtyard. What they didn’t mention is that it’s not accessible from within the property. Which was a nightmare for us with a young dog. Had I known this information when booking I’d never have booked this cottage. Maybe if this information was provided within the description. People could then make an informed choice. As I mentioned previously I messaged the owner to say the cottage was lovely and thanked her for the little hamper. I politely went on to explain about the accessibility issues. I got absolutely no response. Sykes washed there hands of it and said it was the owners responsibility to give correct listing information. All in all after lots of chasing around it tarnished the entire stay for us. Really wish I could have left a positive review but I need to be honest about how this was dealt with.

"Can’t recall whether listing mentioned the steepness of the steps to the second floor bedroom."
Worth emphasising because people with limited mobility may not manage them. Other wise, the cottage was great - comfortable for 5 people + dog, well-appointed and only few minutes’s walk from Haworth Main Street.

"Could not fault Worth Valley Cottage for cleanliness, or location to what we needed."
Beds were comfortable, and it had a good shower with plenty of towels. Main TV was best we have had in a cottage for receiving all channels. The only downside for us ( having a small dog with us ) was there was no door leading straight onto patio.

"Lovely cottage, 5 minute walk from the centre of Howarth."
Parking space out side the cottage, as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters they always over pack and two dogs, just made it much easier to off load luggage. Cottage it's self was very clean and kitchen well equip, had everything in it. Would definitely stay again. Fantastic location for a weekend of walking. Communication with owners was 1st class. "A beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated, spacious and well kept."
All the little extras in the bathroom, kitchen and the welcome basket were a bonus and appreciated. Double bedroom, single bedroom(that my mum had) and another double in the attic that the boys shared. The stairs to the attic room are very narrow and steep but it was suitable for our boys (9 and 15). Kids enjoyed the games and DVD's provided after our days out. We have visited Howarth many times but it was lovely to stay in the village and sample the pubs, restaurants and tea rooms that cater for everyone and we sampled the local chippy on our last night that was great. The cottage is situated within mins to the Bronte museum and there was beautiful walks, steam trains and the local park held a music festival whilst we stayed, which was lovely to sit and listen and enjoy the sunshine we were blessed with all week. The owners were a pleasure to communicate with and should be proud of the holiday cottage they have created in a beautiful part of Yorkshire.
Thank you Mr & Mrs Kinsella

"1. The decor and quality of furniture, bedding and towels was top class."
Great to also give a spare set of sheets. 2. Washer/dryer was the best I've ever used (I made a note of the model so I will get one myself) 3. More kitchen equipment than I had time to cook with. Also, everything was good quality - not like some of grannies old leave offs that we've had in other places. 4. Good to have proper cleaning equipment - again not some wheezy old vacuum cleaner that was useless but a good quality Henry, with mop and bucket and dustpan and brush. The only other things that we would have a comment on (but not in a negative way) 1. I forgot tea towels 2. A hook behind the bathroom door would have been useful 3. The handle on the bathroom door caught your fingers on closing 4. Velux window in attic could have done with a curtain Great location, very welcoming Haworth residents (we went to church 11.15 am Sunday morning and stayed for coffee and a lovely chat) and friendly neighbours.
