  • "This was my second stay at Chloe's cottage and it was just as perfect as the last time I stayed there."

  • "We found everything like it says on the tin."

The cottage was clean and tidy as we would expect, the added touch of the food essentials like bread and milk was very welcome too. The cottage is also in a great position to explore Haworth and the surrounding countryside. We’ll look to visit again and would highly recommend Chloe’s Cottage.

Excellently situated in centre of the town.

  • "Immaculate, cosy and warm cottage."

The most fantastic location in the heart of the village. Only down side is no designated parking space. However we would definitely stay there again .

  • "Beautiful, clean well equipped home from home."

Welcome pack was lovely. As others have mentioned, no parking, but ample parking very close by. The location of the cottage is ideal for the Main Street etc.

  • "The cottage was absolutely perfect."

Fabulous location in the heart of Haworth. A gorgeous welcome basket on arrival with lovely goodies. Can not fault anything. It was homely and I had a lovely relaxing week. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. The owners were so helpful and never intruded once. All in all this property deserves 5 stars. I real find!

  • "The owner was very helpful in sorting out a hitch with the wi fi and so helpful and informative about the area when he came to us."

It is a very good spot for the cottage -right in the heart of Haworth. It was lovely hearing the church chiming the hour, hearing the corvids cawing around the parsonage . Also very convenient for great pubs and eating places.

  • "Fabulous house in a great location."

We really enjoyed it. It is really well equipped (although we mainly ate out because of all the fabulous choices locally). Instant response from the owners to a couple of queries we had. The lack of parking isn't a major issue as there is a car park right round the corner (museum car park) although you do need to be aware it's £35 for a week of parking if budget is an issue. You are right in the heart of the town which is brilliant, though it is extremely steep which might be a problem if you have mobility issues. As a family of 4, with a 4 and 11 year old, we had a great time with lots of walking, running and cycling (you need to be very fit for the running and cycling - the hills are hard going!)

  • "Considering the cottage sleeps 5 there are only seats for 4 people in the lounge."

There are no other chairs in the cottage to add to the lounge! The only toilet is in a tiny room with a narrow sliding door with no lock. Also in there is a small shower cubicle and small sink. Half the grout in the floor tiles is missing. The window is clear glass looking out onto the road! The photos make the house look bigger for example with the kitchen table set. In order to eat round it you have to pull it out from the wall and once seated on the hard wooden benches nobody can get in or out without disturbing the person next to them. You have to pay for parking in whatever car park you manage to get into. It is £5 for a day and overnight stay. The cottage was clean and there was bread, milk, butter, wine, biscuits, truffles etc which was very nice to arrive to. The wifi is provided by a cellular dongle which is intermittent and when it does work it is very low speed (we measured 3Mbps). Overall, the cottage is very well situated, and charming, but oversold for what it is.

Thanks you for your feedback. I am the new owner and your feedback is important to me. I have taken what you have said and will make improvements to the property. I hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

About the location

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
