  • "We recently spent a wonderful week at Wildfell Cottage."

The cottage itself looks to have been recently renovated and has been finished to a very high standard, with lots of lovely touches. The communication from the owners beforehand was great and there was lots of useful info provided at the cottage. The location of the cottage is excellent - the village has all the amenities you would want ( pub, local shop, pharmacy, excellent walks) and the surrounding area is beautiful. We used the cottage as a base to explore Haworth, Hebden Bridge and Bronte Country. Thanks again for a lovely week - we will definitely be back as we want to visit the Heritage Railway and Shibden Hall.

And with excellent communication and information from the owners to help you get the best from your stay, it really does tick all the boxes. The small village of Oxenhope lies amid wonderful scenery, and offers the chance to take advantage of the multitude of walks in the area. The village, with its shop, church and pubs, is home to the terminus for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, which runs on a regular basis to Haworth and on down to Keighley.
