With direct access to the famous Monsal Trail, this delightful, pet-friendly property is tailor-made for families or friends eager to explore the region’s rolling hills, riverside walks and historic market towns, all while enjoying the elegance of a characterful home-from-home.

Stepping inside, you’re greeted by a warm and welcoming kitchen/diner, thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing self-catered stay.

Whether you’re rustling up hearty breakfasts before a day of adventure or preparing an evening meal to share around the dining table, this inviting space makes cooking and conversation easy.

The sitting room is equally appealing, featuring an electric fire, plush seating, and a Smart TV, making it the perfect setting for winding down after a day of fresh air and sightseeing.

Take care as you ascend the traditional, steep stairs to discover the first-floor king-size bedroom, where soft furnishings, a TV, and gentle lighting create a calm space for slow mornings and restful nights.

A sleek bathroom on this floor includes a bath with a handheld shower, a separate walk-in shower, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC, offering a touch of convenience.

The second floor hosts a bright twin bedroom with an en-suite basin and WC, providing flexible accommodation for families or friends travelling together.

An external utility adds extra convenience, ideal for washing walking gear after countryside adventures.

Outside, the enclosed front garden offers a peaceful nook for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, complete with a lawn, patio, and garden furniture.

From Pineapple Cottage, the best of the Peak District is at your fingertips.

In Bakewell, wander along the River Wye to the historic Bakewell Bridge, sample the town’s famous pudding at a traditional café, and browse the Monday market for local crafts and produce.

For outdoor exploration, step straight onto the Monsal Trail, a former railway line that now offers miles of scenic walking and cycling routes through dramatic dales and over impressive viaducts.

Just a short drive away, Buxton awaits with its grand Pavilion Gardens, the fascinating limestone caverns of Poole’s Cavern, and the cultural splendour of the Buxton Opera House, one of Britain’s finest examples of Edwardian theatre design.

In Matlock, families can enjoy the thrills of Gulliver’s Kingdom, ascend the cable cars to the Heights of Abraham for panoramic valley views, or stroll through Hall Leys Park, a leafy haven perfect for picnics and riverside walks.
