  • "HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

Lovely homely cottage. Done to a very high standard, and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. All appliances and utensils are of high quality. We had a problem with the TV , by the afternoon the owners had installed a new one. They were so helpful. We had the option of a super king bed. It was very comfortable and what a treat. If you like star gazing this is the perfect place. Absolutely no light pollution at all. Very quiet surroundings. It’s such a lovely place, we have booked for next year

  • "We spent a very happy 3 generation family holiday here, 4 adults 2 infants and a dog."

The house was very comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space for us, and an en-suite for every bedroom. The garden was a good space with picnic bench and sun loungers and fully enclosed for toddlers and dog to run around safely (although a large dog could probably jump the wall if determined). The house is approached by several miles of single track lane, although there is so little traffic that this was never a problem, and does make the location very peaceful. The lovely beaches of Criccieth and Llanbedrog are only a short drive away.

  • "We stayed here as a family of 4 which included 2 young children, another relative plus a dog."

There was plenty of space for each person and their stuff! Property is situated in a lovely remote area with no other houses around which made it very peaceful. There is a lovely garden which our 7 year old loved running around in. Property is very well equipped, beds really comfy. The only thing missing is some board games for rainy days but this property really does have everything else and we would highly recommend it.

Perfectly located, it provides an ideal base for couples, friends and families wishing to spend quality time together whilst being centrally situated for all that Snowdonia and the North Wales Coast has to offer.

Prys Mawr offers a warm Welsh welcome from the minute you walk through the door.

Sympathetically and imaginatively renovated to a very high standard, the cottage radiates charm and character, with oak wood flooring and locally hand-crafted oak doors.

The character blends well with the stylish, modern finish with high ceilings, spotlighting and well-equipped kitchen with a wonderful central island and Neff appliances, and ground floor walk-in wet room.

The welcoming sitting room with comfy leather sofas is a lovely place to sit and relax long into the evening.

Upstairs, there are three good-sized bedrooms, each benefiting from en-suite WCs with the double also with a shower.

The lawned garden to the front is enclosed by shallow stone walling and the patio with garden furniture provides a fantastic location to sit and soak up the sunshine whilst enjoying the uninterrupted views of surrounding countryside.

There are some wonderful countryside walks from the doorstep; visit St Cybi’s Well or enjoy a walk along the coastal path.

Nearby is Lon Goed, an avenue of trees which leads to the coastal path.

Prys Mawr is also set on the Pwllheli-Portmadog cycle path with wonderful routes to follow.

There is also easy access to wonderful beaches at nearby Criccieth, Morfa Bychan and the whole of the Llyn Peninsula.
