The property

Tresarrett Manor sits quietly in the tiny hamlet of Tresarrett, near Bodmin in North Cornwall.

A handsome detached home offering a restful countryside retreat for families or couples looking to slow down and enjoy a more peaceful pace of life.

There is private access to a mile of salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing ,this is available for all of our guests but you will need the relevant environment agency fishing permits.

Surrounded by lush greenery and winding lanes, it’s a fine base from which to discover Cornwall’s scenic heartland and rugged coastline. Step inside and you’ll find a home full of warmth and character.

The sitting room invites you to relax beside the open fire after a day’s exploring, while the spacious kitchen/diner comes well-equipped with an AGA, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, perfect for rustling up a hearty breakfast before heading out to the coast.

A separate dining room lends itself to long, chatty dinners, while the sunroom and conservatory are ideal for morning coffee or a quiet read with a view of the garden. Upstairs, there are three comfortable double bedrooms, one with its own en-suite basin and WC.

The main bathroom feels indulgent, featuring a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower for a touch of luxury.

Central heating keeps things comfortable all year round, and families will appreciate the option of a travel cot and highchair on request. Outside, the enclosed garden is a delight, complete with a lawn, pond, patio furniture and a barbecue for those golden Cornish evenings.

There’s also off-road parking available. The village of Blisland offers a traditional pub, shop and village green within easy reach, while Bodmin, with its historic jail and the popular Camel Trail, lies just a short walk away.

You can also head to Port Isaac, a postcard-perfect fishing village, or spend a day on the beaches of Newquay.

Pencarrow House & Garden and Porfell Wildlife Park make great day trips too. Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, Tresarrett Manor offers a timeless slice of Cornish countryside charm.

BLISLAND

Bodmin 5.7 miles; Wadebridge 8.4 miles; Polzeath 13.2 miles; Tintagel 13.8 miles; Padstow 16 miles; Fowey 17.2 miles.

Situated under the western edge of granite-bound Bodmin Moor, the village of Blisland retains its age old character and is the only village in Cornwall to have a village green with trees. Around the green, cluster old houses and cottages, as well as the famous, award-winning Blisland Inn. The village is located less than three miles from the A30, and so provides an ideal central location for touring Cornwall. Nearby, Poley’s Bridge marks the beginning of the Camel Trail, a 17-mile long route, which follows a long disused old steam engine railway line to Padstow. The route is completely traffic-free and perfect for walkers and cyclists. You can even explore the trail on horseback and a purpose-built hide has been constructed between Wadebridge and Padstow, so even birdwatchers are catered for! Pull on your walking boots and explore Bodmin Moor, or venture to the coast with your buckets and spades and enjoy a day on one of the many beautiful beaches that stretch along Cornwall’s northern coastline. A fabulous part of the country for all!

Friday, Saturday & Sunday changeovers only.
