  • "The only thing stopping it from being 10 was that breakfast was unavailable on 2 mornings out of the 3."

We were not advised of this until turning up at the restaurant

  • "Absolutely amazing place to stay ."

I have previously stayed at the Forest of Dean and one other . Both great places to stay . I only booked the Dearpark , as was having a new bathroom, with it being just over an hour to get to it was the perfect location. I was dubious about staying away on my own with my dog . I shouldn't have been.! Fantastic walks , all staff were excellent and friendly. For me it was a home from home whilst work was being done at home. With the added bonus of a lovely cabin , great walks and the added bonus of a hot tub . I will be staying again in the future

  • "Location is stunning and the service was brilliant but we've been visiting for about 10 years and the prices have raised significantly (expect some inflation) but there hasn't been an improvement to the cabins, they are starting to look run down and I would not class them as 'luxury' any more."

Had a great time, cottage was great, staff very friendly friendly, however we had issues with flies and that's the only reason we didn't give it a 10
