"We've been many times 9 we think."
A few problems this time though. A faulty boiler left us having to monitor a leak. The legal itself soaked everyone's outdoor clothes so we were a bit restricted. The team promised to check the leak and empty the bucket but did not. Add that to a rave in the cabin next door it wasn't good.

I would only recommend summer time as this time we travelled later in the year and the cabin was a little bit worn however the staff did promptly rectify any problems we reported

Cabins are looking a bit tired and kitchen needs to be stocked with more to be able to do family dinners. Food delivery service was delayed and we had to pick up the food.

The house was breath-taking position in the forest. Hot tub was really relaxing after a big walk. In the house there was everything what you need or you can easily buy wood, food, caffe.

This trip in September 2023 was my 6th visit to FH. I always tend to come to Cropton as well. However, I am sorry to say that over the years (since 2015) I have seen a slip in standards, which is disappointing. Especially for the costs.
