  • "We had a lovely stay at Bodaioch Hall."

What a beautiful property situated in a lovely friendly town. Will certainly be back!

  • "My friends and I (14 of us) had an amazing time at Bodaioch Hall, thanks for the lovely stay!"

The beds are super comfortable, the hot tubs were a dream to be in while looking at the hills in the distance and listening to birds. The kitchen had everything we needed; the hob would be our only suggestion for improvement as pots and pans took ages to heat up and didn't seem to retain heat well, which is not ideal for cooking group meals. But the ovens worked well so not a huge problem! Another suggestion for improvement would be supplying dressing gowns for when using the hot tub or extra towels, but again, not a big problem. The house has 3 medium sized living spaces in addition to the big kitchen, two with TVs which were great for movie night. Lovely surroundings, well kept grounds and lots to do nearby, we went to a local cider farm tour & tasting, visited Aberystwyth and we would highly recommend a walk around Elan Valley. Would definitely recommend staying at Bodaioch Hall!

  • "We had an incredible long weekend at Bodaioch Hall celebrating my 30th birthday with a group that consisted of both adults and children."

The property is stunning, has been renovated to a high standard and was clean throughout. Everyone loved the outside games room and hot tubs were used plenty. Having two is such a bonus! Personally my favourite part of the house was the gorgeous kitchen which provided a perfect setting for meal times. We got lucky with great weather and took full advantage. There are lovely walks around, and the village has a playground for the little ones and we also visited the lovely local pub. The only complaint I heard of during the weekend was the sofa beds not being the comfiest to sleep on, and the barbecue has seen better days, but in the grand scheme of things these were non-issues. Overall we had a fabulous time and would 100% return for a special occasion in the future. We loved every minute of our weekend and all wished we could have stayed for longer!

  • "Impressive property on arrival."

Lovely and warm. Disappointed in the festive decorations. Only one tree in a room that we were unable to use due to a leak from the chimney. One bedroom’s on-suite was unusable due to a very substantial leak into the kitchen, therefore guests in that room had to use shower facilities in the play/hot tub area. Not ideal. Kitchen is the hub of the house which was brilliant. Other reception rooms were not big enough for us all to sit together. Cleanliness wasn’t the best. House could do with a bit of tlc. Overall a lovely Christmas was had by all despite the few niggles

  • "We had an absolutely amazing 3 nights at Bodaioch Hall as a party of 20."

The property is stunning and set in idyllic Welsh countryside. There was more than enough space for 20+ adults with huge bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The hot tub/games room area was also brilliant and an ideal space for relaxing with friends. Many thanks to Sam who was easy to contact and super helpful with the check in/out process.

  • "We were a family group of ages ranging from age 1 to 70s."

The stay was to celebrate my birthday. Feedback is that we all throughly enjoyed staying at Bodaioch Hall the grounds are private and well maintained. The country setting is so quiet with only the odd cow or sheep noise. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean on arrival. Hopefully on leaving we left it as we found it. We would definitely want to stay at Bodaioch Hall again and already looking for an excuse to go back.

  • "The property more than matched expectations."

The host Sam was at hand via text at all times for queries. We arrived and the place was lit with Christmas trees and decorations with heating full on. It was so welcoming. Downstairs there were 2 reception rooms, cinema room, large kitchen diner with space for 24 places, double bedroom, and a king bedroom in the basement. Upstairs there was another 8 rooms. All rooms had en-suite apart from one which was a shared jack/jill room. Outside was as impressive with 2x hot tubs, games room with pool table etc. Shower area and laundry room. The village is quiet with 1 convenience store and a friendly pub, be sure to visit both. The area is a perfect base for exploring and walking. Great for families and friends. We would have loved to book this again for the same time but prices have increased dramatically since we last booked, by over 60%.

  • "We would highly recommend this property."

Our early Christmas girlie weekend break was fabulous. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all of us. The hot tubs and games room were well used and being away from the house meant that those wanting a quieter time could do so in one of the three lounges. The bedrooms were all well laid out and the beds were very comfortable. As all the bedrooms were en suite there was no queue for the bathroom. The only two minor issues were. Firstly the double sofa beds were uncomfortable for the two sharing them. Then secondly the hob only had Four rings which when your cooking for 24 people, was a little problematic. Lots of pots shuffling, but great Christmas dinner was achieved. Although I know the chef, my friend Claire, was using a few choice words whilst shuffling pots

  • "Me and my friends had the best weekend at bodaioch hall, it exceeded all of our expectations!"

The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were really comfortable! Sam was lovely, making sure everything was perfect for when we arrived and then leaving us to our own devices which we all appreciated! Sam also said not to worry about the noise which was perfect for our 30th party as we weren’t worrying about being too loud! The house was incredible with the 2 hot tubs and games room, perfect for our large group and then the kitchen were we spent most of our time together! Then lastly the surroundings and view were amazing, couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay Xx

  • "The Hall was great, but we all come Leicestershire and your refuge facilities are different from ours by the boxes, we have black bin household, green bin garden and brown cardboard, glass and cans, there was no notification to say what goes where."

Also no instruction books for the cooker and dishwasher, we are all gas cooker users and there was no books to say what the symbols were for the cooker, so we were cooking blind and for a large group it was not easy to judge, it took longer than was necessary. All rooms were great, hot water was good supply, everything else was great except for the above remarks. !
