  • "Wonderful site very well maintained."

The caravan was fantastic! Clean like a home from home, everything you need for comfort,. We sat out on the decking most of the time, it was so relaxing and quite.

  • "Lovely caravan in a nice quiet spot, and the best-equipped I've seen."

The caravan is very smartly decorated and features a veranda. Most caravans I've stayed in have had lousy freeview TVs but the TV in this caravan was excellent, had a DVD player, AND a TONNE of DVDs to choose from to watch. We brought a few with us, but didn't watch any of them as there were so many to choose from in the caravan itself. There really is something for all members of the family. The kitchen is also the best-equipped of any caravan I've ever stayed in. For some reason there's never a chopping board in caravan kitchens, I think it's assumed nobody will do any actual cooking while on holiday but I love to cook and eat great food while away. There were several chopping boards, loads of kitchen knives, tonnes of mugs, cups, glasses, plates, bowls, utensils, everything you're likely to need really. I've stayed at Shorefield before so I already knew it's a short walk into Milford on Sea to reach the beach and the excellent Smugglers Inn. It's also not too far to Bournemouth and we spent a lovely day there promenading, eating chips and ice cream, paddling in the sea, and baffling the dog with our insistence that the sea wasn't going to do her any harm. We chose this caravan over others because Ruth mentioned that dogs are welcome in the description, which others don't do. There's a world of difference between "dogs allowed" and "dogs welcome", and dogs are absolutely welcomed here. Ruth also provided us with loads of useful information before we arrived including excellent directions to the caravan from the site entrance. No driving around in circles looking for the caravan this time! We had a problem with the boiler the first evening which Ruth was very quick to come out and rectify for us, and it was fine for the rest of our stay. At the end of the stay we were sad to leave, we could have happily stayed a lot longer!

  • "In a wonderful area of England, on a fully equipped site we find Rosewood 9 which is clean, comfortable and contains everything you need for a family holiday."

We found Rosewood three years ago and spent a wonderful holiday with our children and grandchildren. On the day we got home we immediately booked for the net year and again on return we booked for a third year and can’t wait to get there. Rob and Sue Wagstaff

  • "Lovely caravan in a great spot."

Clean and has everything you need for a great break. Ruth was extremely accommodating and helpful. Perfect break. Recommend highly for a quiet, private spot. Dog friendly and for me, Mum friendly! Perfect combination. We’ll be back.

  • "A lovely caravan with lots of space and cosy on chilly evenings."

Surrounding decking and gate a big bonus with two dogs. A generous, non-shared parking area, another bonus. A quiet and pretty setting. Good and friendly communication with owner. Liked it so much am planning to return.

The property

This is one of four caravans at Shorefield Country Park, previously owned by my parents who loved the area so much they retired to Barton-on-Sea! Our aim is to make this a home-from-home for you to enjoy as much as my parents did - we feel we provide a lot of extras to help your stay that much easier and more enjoyable: 43" Smart TV DVD player and a selection of DVDs for all ages Books for you all to enjoy Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Fridge-Freezer Dishwasher Tea towels Garden Furniture The caravan has 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedroom plus a sofa bed (linen not provided for the sofa bed) in the lounge area. Bed linen is provided (please bring your own towels) We allow well behaved dogs (the caravan is situated on Rosewood just off Seabreeze near the ford and the woodland walk making it ideal for the dog walk and the beach) We don't charge any extra for dogs and we don't charge any extra for services such as gas, water and electric.  The only thing not included are the entertainment passes and I can offer these at 50% less than Shorefield charges. We are happy to discount for longer stays and will consider any enquiries for short breaks - please e-mail or call to ask. If this one doesn't have the availability it's worth checking with me about the others, which are all 2 bedrooms. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac near the ford and close to the path to the beach so it's an excellent location. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
