  • "An immaculately clean little property in a super location-close to the beach, shop and bar/restaurants."

    Up a relatively steep roadway if you are taking older people or those with mobility issues. Only small tweaks would be - TV needs an update as we couldn’t use any smart features and only had limited channels, also the property would benefit from more outdoor seating to make the most of the lovely back garden and views on sunny evenings.

  • "One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed – truly unforgettable."

    I’ve stayed in a fair few holiday homes over the years, but this one absolutely stands out. The house is stunning inside and out — beautifully styled, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the whole space had such a calm, welcoming feel. Set in the most peaceful location, it gave me a real chance to unwind and recharge — exactly what I needed. The owner was absolutely lovely too: warm, helpful, and clearly takes great pride in the property. I genuinely hope I’ll have the chance to return

  • "What an amazing holiday property!"

    Perfect location to explore the area and visit Trearddur Bay where I spent so much of my childhood. Was a beautiful property for my birthday weekend celebrations. Quite area with gorgeous views. Love the layout of the kitchen and lounge. Thank you. Look forward to returning.

  • "This property is by far the best we have used and facilitated every single member of our our group."

    The cleanliness was amazing, the location was perfect and we couldn't ask for more. The communication throughout our stay should we needed anything was responded to promptly and accurately. This is a true reflection of what a holiday cottage should be like, we will without doubt be returning if this is available for our future stays in Anglesey.

Awel-Y-Mor is an elegant single-storey dwelling situated in the desirable location of Trearddur Bay, Isle of Anglesey.

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
