  • "We had a great girls weekend in the property."

The bedrooms were a great size and super comfy beds! We were impressed with the ever flowing hot water as with 10 ladies after outdoor activities we wanted to all shower and there was enough hot water for us all! We spent most of our time in the kitchen as it is such a sociable space!

  • "Mountain view was the perfect place to celebrate my special birthday with my friends."

It was easy to access with plenty of information before we arrived. Lovely rooms and well equipped, we enjoyed drinking bubbly in the hot tub with the plastic champagne glasses provided. Even though it is a big house it was warm and cosy and we enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise. It would have been nice to have a information book about the house but we did manage to find and work everything. Only one minus as the drain plug in the main bathroom shower was dirty. We also would have liked some coasters for our cups. Great idea for the trolly to take the rubbish to the bin up the drive. We would all recommend Mountain View to stay for a family celebration and to explore Anglesey.

  • "We had a wonderful weekend at Mountain View."

It is a very spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated property that is perfect for families. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our children loved the garden and the hot tub was very relaxing. We would love to visit again.

  • "The hot tub was cold so we couldn’t use it on the first day."

One of the beds was on bricks and another had half the slats missing, so it wasn’t comfortable. We also saw a mouse run into the utility behind the fridge. Also, as a side note, my experience with Sykes wasn’t great either. I found it very difficult to try and get hold of someone about my booking and felt you weren’t very accommodating. I wouldn’t rush to book through you again.

Fabulous kitchen for us all to chat while cooking, with a separate lounge area for quiet time. Amazing views across to Snowdonia.

We did enjoy our stay over the weekend. Just one thing, en suite bathrooms wasn't clean that much, especially sinks, showers and floors in few bedrooms. In overall I would recommend and get back to this place again if that matter will be sort it.

  • "The standard of the accommodation is very high."

Well equipped and maintained property that was comfortable and pleasant to stay in. Would have liked some more information about local pathways and walks but we managed ok. Would definitely recommend for a large group. Hot tub was great too.

  • "We have no complaints at all about the house it was comfortable and spacious and we all enjoyed staying there."

We were unlucky with the weather having two nice days in the week, the rest was cold, wet and windy. We hadn't been to Anglesey before so it was a good central base for us to explore everywhere with nowhere far away. I can't think of any improvements you need to make for future holiday makers.

  • "Eight adults, four small children, more than enough room for us all."

What an amazing house, celebrating 40 years of marriage & a birthday in the middle of our stay , it was very special. Would highly recommend this property. Our Asda delivery man was waiting for us on our arrival, ( corks were popping within 10 mins of him leaving). P.S. What a pleasure it was to deal with the owner Anthony. & to meet farmer John.

  • "The feedback from my large, multi generational family was enthusiastic, this is a beautiful and well executed restoration."

The proportions of the house are excellent and the kitchen is extremely well equipped for an extended family. A couple of the younger children cried when we left, they had hoped we were staying forever! No negative comments at all, just a couple of observations as feedback. Window seats in the bow windows would make for some comfortable seating in the dining area, with views of the wonderful landscape. The garden really needs to be enclosed to prevent children toppling into the nettles, and a canopy of some sort over the patio area would allow use of the BBQ and hot tub when traditional Welsh weather prevails! Garden furniture would be an asset.

If peace is what you need it's perfect except when the wind blows hard which it did for us on 2 occasions. But who can predict the weather!! Anglesey has plenty to offer and the holiday suited both children and adults.
