“Beautiful cottage in a fabulous location .”

Everything spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The owner was genuinely warm and friendly, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Certainly one of the best places we’ve stayed.

The property

A spacious, detached cottage, located down a long drive, next to the owners’ 150-acre dairy heifer rearing farm, with a slightly elevated aspect in the pleasant village of Llanfaethlu, near Church Bay, Anglesey.

Offering stunning views both inside and out of the surrounding countryside and distant views of the bay, this Llanfaethlu cottage makes the perfect base for family and friends wishing to explore the north coast of Anglesey.

This Anglesey cottage is eco-friendly, using the latest in Biomass heating technology and solar electric panels with underfloor heating, and boasts four stylish bedrooms, one offering an en-suite shower room.

There is also a family bathroom, where a Jacuzzi bath provides the perfect spot for unwinding after a day of exploring the island, plus there is also a convenient ground floor wet room.

A well-equipped kitchen with a dining area forms a central hub to this lovely holiday cottage, whilst the sitting room is home to a cosy woodburning stove for those cooler autumn nights.

Kick back and relax in the bright and airy summer room, boasting a bay window to frame the distant views of the sea.

Outside, the garden is child-friendly, with the patio enclosed with a glass balustrade, overlooking the lawned garden.

A short walk across fields leads to the local village pub, with an excellent reputation for serving delicious food!

The coast is easily reached by car, providing access to some fantastic, secluded sandy beaches and coves, along with access to breathtaking clifftop walks.

A delightful Llanfaethlu cottage to enjoy with family and friends, all year round.

Amidst spectacular cliffs and sandy beaches, this unassuming village provides a local shop and Post Office, whilst nearby Church Bay boasts a superb seafood restaurant. Wales' only working windmill is within easy reach, providing an opportunity to see corn being ground the old fashioned way, whilst the surrounding countryside boasts excellent fishing, birdwatching and coastal walks, with climbing on offer in Snowdonia. Indulge in fabulous watersports, including kitesurfing, diving and sailing at the stunning Rhosneigr beach, or enjoy 18 holes at a choice of three local golf courses.
