  • "Apartment No 3 was easy to find and was close to the beach and local pubs, restaurants and facilities (all no more than 5 minutes walk."

The apartment was lovely, tastefully decorated and furnished, well equipped and comfortable. Treaddur Bay is a lovely location with a great beach and Coastal walks accessible from the village. It has a good selection of places to eat and drink. We particularly enjoyed The Oceans Edge and the Sea Shanty. Nearby in Rhoscolyn we tried the White Eagle Pub Restaurant which is a 5 minute walk or can be reached by a longer coastal walk. Treaddur bay is only a couple of miles away from the Main A 55 giving access to the sights, towns and villages of the island. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the location and apartment.

  • "The only set back was being so close to the Driftwood Motel and the noise on the Saturday night from there."

Plus we had a worker above who allowed doors to slam early morning on his way out.

Thank you for your feedback and we are very sorry you did not find your stay was as tranquil and peaceful as it normally is. We have just returned from a weekend there ourselves and have always noticed the Driftwood are very strict about no-one being allowed to sit outside after 10pm. The Driftwood have their own motel accommodation extremely close to their seating area and will not permit any noise after 10pm because of their residents. Even before 10pm we can honestly say we have never been disturbed and we frequently have the patio doors open on summer evenings. If you would have called or texted us and let us know we would have gladly spoken to the owners of the Driftwood, on that particular Saturday night, as we know them quite well. I have spoken to the owner of the apartment above and have asked that their guest is more considerate. The owners of the apartments at Gwel Y Tywyn are a little tight knit community and we all look after each other. If you would have called or texted us and let us know we would have addressed this matter immediately during your stay. Property Owner

  • "The apartment was in a great location and very well appointed and presented."

Ideal for exploring or just spending time on the local beach. Everything was in a good condition and made the stay a real pleasure. The only slight shortfall is the lack of storage facilities as a shed or garage would enable guests to store bikes or beach equipment paddle boards etc. overall a great stay

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately our garage is being used to store furniture at the moment. If you intend to come back let us know as the garage is now available on request. Property Owner

  • "One delight with this property was the settees which didn't need the thick cushions we had taken to allow us to get out of the usual too low seats."

The owners need complimenting for providing every single thing that a home needs, of such high quality too. We are going again. Well done.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such amazing feedback. We are so pleased you have booked with us again in April 2023. We hope you have another great stay. Property Owner
