Gorgeous house, superbly, tastefully designed by the owners to give the customers a lovely comfortable home from home stay, absolutely thought of everything from a lovely welcone hamper to most comfortable clean beds, great showers and bath, fully equipoed kitchen to suit all needs and beautiful furnishings throughout. I cant say anything negative about this property and to top the icing on the cake, lovely owner Debbie couldn't have been any nicer, if you needed anything shed oblige, thankfully we never needed to disturb her. Many thanks for a lovely holiday, we will return in the future Jackie Hall

  • "Had a lovely stay."

The cottage was great, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, amazing showers and good towels. Only thing to comment on, it could do with a couple more sharp knives. That’s the only thing! Thanks so much.

  • "The property is within a very short distance of the A77."

Which is extremely busy and can impact sleeping as it does not quieten down at night. The property itself is immaculate. Lovely welcoming basket of goodies. I left early due to the A77 but apart from that this break was good. Ultimately this listing should state that it is on a very busy road.

  • "Had to cut holiday short by a day or so because of personal circumstances, but this shouldn't reflect on the holiday itself which proved to be exceptionally lovely."

I have stayed in several cootages throughout the UK and some have been 'cosy', you think it's just a holiday, so you tolerate it, but in Ailsa Shores it felt roomy enough to stretch out a bit and especially with the king sized bed. Great vista of the sea and a nice and quick visit to walk our dogs on the beach which just like the cottage felt expansive. Lovely cafe for breakfast on the coast just a couple of minutes driving south. On the whole we all had a lovely time.

  • "Our recent stay at Alisa Shores was wonderful."

We arrived to an immaculately clean cottage with a lovely welcome basket which contained all we needed and more for our arrival. The property is thoughtfully appointed and was very comfortable for us, our two teenagers and Labrador. We enjoyed walks on the easily accessible nearby sandy beach and some enjoyable day trips to the Isle of Arran and Alloway/Ayr. The sunset views from the cottage were amazing. Thank you again to our fabulous host.

Glorious. Fantastic, comfy beds with a great setup throughout and extremely well presented. Great host who went above and beyond to help us enjoy every minute of our stay. Lovely thoughtful welcome basket upon arrival, especially the shortbread and wine!

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ailsa Shores, the cottage is amazing, with fantastic views of Ailsa Craig."

We arrived on the first day to a deep cleaned cottage, fresh flowers, a fantastic welcome hamper with the essentials, fresh milk in the fridge and a cold bottle of Prosecco! There were even treats for the dog (who was very grateful!) Comfy beds, fluffy towels and a well equipped kitchen make the stay hassle free. The dishwasher and washing machine are a welcome bonus for families! The only comment I have is the road outside the cottage is noisy and busy, however, I slept with no problem, the kids slept fine and my husband used ear plugs to good effect, so I would not let that put you off at all, the bonus to the busy road is having the beach on the other side of it! Looking forward to returning to make more memories and relaxing.

  • "Very friendly contact with the owner while there."

We had a lovely stay and the booking system was easy to use Only thing I would think helpful as so near the beach is to have an outdoor space open but covered so one can come back and leave wet shoes / clothes outside drying but under cover of the rain - so do not bring in so much dirt on entry Many thanks Sara
