Sleeping four guests across two bedrooms, this characterful retreat is well-suited to couples, friends and small families seeking a countryside escape, with a woodburning stove, private courtyard and easy access to Stratford-upon-Avon. Step through the private entrance and into the inviting open-plan living space, where exposed brickwork and a striking inglenook fireplace create a welcoming setting for evenings beside the crackling woodburning stove.

Sink into the plush sofas with your favourite film on the Smart TV with Netflix, while the dining area provides a pleasant spot to enjoy breakfast before setting off for the day.

The well-equipped kitchen offers everything needed for a self-catered stay, including a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and freezer, while a washing machine and drying rack make longer visits all the more convenient. Upstairs, the cottage hosts two attractive bedrooms, comprising a king-size and a double, each providing a restful place to unwind after exploring the surrounding countryside.

Serving both rooms is a family bathroom with a bath, shower over, heated towel rail, basin and WC, while an additional ground-floor WC adds further convenience. Outside, the private courtyard garden offers a lovely space to enjoy a morning coffee or dine alfresco during warmer months.

Guests will also benefit from off-road parking for two cars and the chance to experience life on a working farm estate, where free-roaming hens and other animals can often be spotted around the grounds. A shop lies a short journey away, while the nearest pub is within easy reach for an evening meal or local ale.

Walkers can enjoy the scenic Welford-on-Avon to Dorsington circular route, while nearby Stratford-upon-Avon offers attractions including Shakespeare's Birthplace, Anne Hathaway's Cottage and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

The market town of Alcester is home to the Roman Alcester Heritage Centre, Ragley Hall and a selection of independent shops and eateries, while Warwick makes an excellent day out with Warwick Castle, St Nicholas' Park and the historic Lord Leycester.
