  • "We stayed at Golygfa during our annual spring trip and it was a home to home experience."

The place is amazing - the sunrise with the morning coffee while sitting on a balcony with a stunning view over the small village beneath and grassy fields behind - is as unbelievable as the fresh air and the singing birds. The property is split into 2 levels where double bed bedroom is on the ground floor and the sitting room with kitchen, bathroom and another double bedroom are above. You can enjoy the incredible view from the sitting room with the open balcony door, plus there is a two level garden with swings and garden furniture to enjoy during warmer time. The place is very secure, clean, modern, cosy, compact and spacious enough, there is everything you need for your stay (plus there was a variety of tea, coffee, biscuits and some local authentic sweet treats - this was a surprise because not every host goes such an extra mile to greet the guests and make them feel that very welcomed). During our 5 days stay the weather changed from feeling like -2 because of the storm Dave to amazing +20, but the property was very warm during cooler days which is extremely important for me since I’m very sensitive to the cold. For the warmer days I’ve seen air conditioner units to keep it cooler, but we did not need it at this time of the year. The location of the property is excellent and it’s a relatively short driving to different sides of the North Wales. Finding the property is easy if you follow the instructions of the host and not the postcode. The host is very friendly and shared some ideas what to visit. We did not have any issues during our stay, but I needed to ask some details before arrival and the host replied within a very short time. The property is perfect if you are looking for a picturesque view place with an authentic experience without pollution, car noise and busy street, but within a reasonable distance to places of interest, grocery shops and eating out, it is great for a short and long stay. Our biggest thank you to the host and best recommendations.

Thank you so much for your feedback You were fantastic guests and would love to have you back anytime. Property Owner

  • "Lovely homely accommodation, secure garden for the dog."

Bed was very comfortable, nice big sofa with blankets provided to let your dog come on the sofa as well, which was really nice as lots of places say dogs allowed then when you arrive you find dog not allowed on furniture etc. For me personally as I'm rubbish at parking I found the parking spot a bit awkward to get in and out but luckily my husband was able to manage it with no issues. It was lovely and quiet there and we felt right at home and would definitely book again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We would love to see you back at Golygfa cottage in the future as you were fantastic guests. Property Owner
