The property

Conway Mart Cottage is a welcoming three-storey cottage set within the historic castle walls of Conwy in North Wales, offering an enclosed garden, permit parking, and a central location close to the coast, river, and Eryri National Park.

Ideal for families and friends, this characterful retreat combines heritage surroundings with a thoughtfully updated interior.

Step inside and follow the patterned tiled hallway, where there is space to hang coats before turning left into the sitting room.

Recently renovated, this space feels airy and well-presented, with soft carpet underfoot, an electric fire adding a gentle glow, and a mounted Smart TV with Sky Sports providing entertainment as you settle into the sofa or armchairs.

Continue through to the kitchen and dining area, where tiled flooring and sleek white fittings create a bright setting for preparing meals using the array of appliances, before gathering at the table with a Smart TV showing Sky available in the background.

A utility room and cloakroom add convenience to your stay.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden offers a paved seating area, where the impressive castle walls can be glimpsed beyond, adding to the unique setting.

The first floor hosts a twin bedroom with a mounted Smart TV and flexible layout, which can be configured to create a second en-suite arrangement when the additional bedroom is not in use.

A spacious bathroom with both bath and shower sits along the landing.

The main super-king-size bedroom provides a standout space, featuring a spacious bed as a key highlight, along with its own Smart TV and desk area, and leading through to an en-suite shower room fitted with refreshing jet features.

On the second floor, a king-size bedroom is tucked beneath the eaves, where a Velux window draws in natural light.

You are just a short stroll from the heart of Conwy, where shops, restaurants, and local amenities are easily reached.

Explore Conwy Castle and walk the historic town walls for elevated views across the estuary, or visit the Smallest House in Great Britain along the harbour.

Head to nearby Llandudno to enjoy the wide promenade, take in far-reaching views from the Great Orme, and spend time along the traditional pier.

Venture into Eryri National Park to discover scenic mountain routes, waterfalls hidden among wooded landscapes, and tranquil lakes that invite exploration.

With so much on offer, Conway Mart Cottage presents a well-positioned base for experiencing the history and scenery of North Wales.

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns to enjoy
