The property

Yurts, barn and fire pit in a Snowdonia valley is a characterful base near Abergele, North Wales, bringing together double yurts, a rustic barn feel and sweeping mountain views for a relaxed break with family or friends.

Tucked in beautiful countryside between Abergele and Conwy, this simple yet appealing set-up is all about shared time in the fresh air, with private gardens framing the scene and a fire pit ready for evenings beneath the stars. Step into the family yurts and find space for everyone to unwind, with one room offering three king-size beds and a woodburning stove that becomes the natural gathering point on cooler nights.

A second family room with a king-size and a single bed keeps the group together while still allowing a little breathing space with an additional sofa bed providing even more flexibility.

Morning routines are made easy with both an indoor shower room and an outdoor shower, the latter a real feature for guests who enjoy a closer connection to nature, while those who prefer to stay indoors have a more traditional option. At the heart of your stay is the kitchen/diner, warmed by another woodburning stove, where simple, sociable meals come together after days out exploring.

Throw open the doors to the private gardens and linger over long evenings at the patio furniture, watching the light fade over the surrounding hills. When it is time to explore, the amenities of the North Wales coast are within reach, from beaches and sea air to local castles and attractions.

Abergele and Conwy provide places to eat, shop and wander, while days out across Snowdonia, Portmeirion and Anglesey promise even more varied scenery and experiences.

Whatever the plan, Yurts, barn and fire pit in a Snowdonia valley near Abergele offers a fine base for discovering this distinctive corner of North Wales.
