  • "On entering the gate into the little court yard, we were appalled by how disgusting the area was."

    Blocked grain which smelt awful, weeds everywhere and the little patio set filthy and beyond cleaning. Therefore unable to sit outside. On opening the door, again framework very dirty. Only issues with inside was no cupboard for storing food, and only three coat hangers - so had to go out and buy some. This was such a shame as the cottage itself was lovely and bed very comfortable.

  • "A beautifully presented and newly finished, ground floor flat, stocked with all the latest mod cons."

    The bed was large and very comfortable. It’s right in the centre of a quiet village with 2 good pubs, a cafe and shop. Outside court yard and easy walks to Polurrian beach were much appreciated by our dog.

MULLION

Helston 5 miles; Lizard Point 5.5 miles.

Mullion is a large village on the Lizard Peninsula, five miles south of Helston and just over five miles from Lizard Point, the most southerly tip of mainland Britain. The village is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Mullion is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family.
