  • "Overall..."

    Dissappionted. We were away with friends, our bedroom downstairs felt damp, the extract system in the ensuite was inefficient, no minimum time allowance after the light was switched off. We opened the windows in rhe bedroom as often as we could. The garden furniture was really and old uncared for. Kitchen well equipped, but appeared well worn. Extract again not up to standard. Overall, not very clean. Floors needed a good scrub. We hoovered on departure and felt the stairs had not been hoovered for a long time .

  • "We had a lovely stay."

    The house was lovely and clean, the garden was an ideal size for both of our dogs. The outside shower was so handy after coming home from the beach with the dogs. The only thing we found was it was slightly cramped in the living space for the amount of people in the house.

  • "Stayed a week from 18/7/26."

    Lovely spacious home, and very well equipped kitchen including washing/drying facilities. The property was lovely and clean on arrival, a bonus for use of towels. The property was great for my disabled mum with downstairs bedroom and shower. A handrail to the front door would have been helpful. The driveway was a struggle also in my dad’s van, sometimes struggled with grip on the gravel. Otherwise fabulous house and would stay against great location with an hours drive to most of Cornwall.

  • "We had a wonderful stay, the house had everything we needed."

    It was close to lots of beautiful places including Portreath beach which is great. Only complaint would be that Netflix etc wouldn’t work on the main tv, it would have been nice to watch some shows on the evening, but not a huge problem.

  • "We were offered this property at the last minute due to our original option not being fit to stay in."

    Very grateful that owners could host us at such short notice. Only slight downside for us was that loft bedroom only really suitable for children and could have used another saucepan. However we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

  • "We had a super time at Cinders Loft - the size of the home was great and nice to have an enclosed garden which was adequate for a medium to large dog."

    Good size bedrooms and family bathroom and en suite in one of the rooms and a further toilet. The added bonus of a shower on the outside of the house in the garden to clean a sandy dog was so useful. Very close to Portreath beach and not far to many others if you are happy to drive. Local shop is the end of the road and again useful. We would definitely stay here again.

  • "Cottage was very accommodating."

    Very comfortable bed we had. Shower outside really useful. Lovely rear garden set up. Couple of maintenance issues. Ground floor en-suite shower pole kept falling down. Think I’ve fixed it tight enough now but because no windows in the shower room condensation affects it staying up maybe. Patio doors have dropped over time and you need when opening and closing.

  • "A fabulous property in a great location for exploring Cornwall."

    Convenience store within walking distance and supermarket 5.minutes drive away. The private enclosed garden is perfect for young and old alike and the outside shower is brilliant. Our 5 year old grandson made use of it every night! Would definitely stay here again. Many thanks.

  • "Perfect holiday cottage."

    Well situated for easy access to beaches and attractions but there are also footpaths beginning within a very short distance of the front door, which was ideal for our two doggies. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and contained everything we could have wished for. In fact we could have happily lived there forever! The outdoor shower (with temperature control) is a great boon both for muddy dogs and muddy footwear. There are dog-proof fences all round the garden which, in certain spots, is not overlooked by neighbours. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone and hope to return in the not too distant future!

  • "Listed as 4 bed 3 bathroom."

    1 bedroom suitable only for children. 1 en suite bathroom and 1 house bathroom. Was not adequate for 3 separate couples hoping for own bathroom. Lovely garden and all other requirements covered.

  • "Cinders loft was absolutely lovely, very well equipped for a lengthy stay, the house is very comfortable, smart tvs in every room."

    Bbq in the garden and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, victoria and John have been brilliant hosts, wished us a fantastic holiday when we arrived and nothing was to much trouble. Cinders loft is the perfect base to explore cornwall with, its right in the middle of newquay and st ives. You can drive to anywhere in cornwall in under an hour, Also only a 2 miles from the house is portreath beach which is beautiful. We had the most amazing holiday and would recommend cinders loft to anyone. We will absolutely be returning for another holiday! Thanks so much

Flambards theme park, Gweek seal sanctuary or the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station are just a few of the other attractions scattered around this picturesque region.
