In Crowan, a tiny little Cornish hamlet, set back from a quiet lane is West Barn, one of two adorable thatched cottages, thoughtfully converted from old barns.
West Barn is fresh, comfortable and stylish.
Stable doors into the open-plan living area which has wooden floors, a beamed ceiling and a sofa bed which is suitable for a child.
For the grown ups, there is one double bedroom with an en suite shower-room.
Outside you have your own little sitting-out area with table and chairs and the use of a larger, grassed garden area which is shared with neighbouring East Barn.
You are welcome to explore the owner's' 10 acres of grounds and bluebell copse, or take one of the footpaths from your door and wander the local area.
Further afield, Gwithian Towans has a stunning sandy beach, and at the popular resort town of St Ives you can spend the day browsing art galleries, interesting shops and restaurants or visit some of the UK's best beaches.
