  • "Overall a very enjoyable stay, within mins walk from all the shops, harbour, beach pubs etc the apartment was very clean and tidy the only downside was the very tight parking space if you have a large car also when sat at the patio furniture the only view you have is of a brick wall."

! the property next door had a small decked area so you could enjoy the fantastic views without standing up, I would definitely stay again if there was a decking area

Thank you for taking the time to feedback, we appreciate it and are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately we cannot change the size of the parking space, and appreciate with larger cars it can mean that the passenger needs to disembark before parking for example. However we do feel that it benefits guests to offer them this free, secure parking space located only a few yards from the front door. Property Owner

  • "The apartment is very clean, well equipped and central to the main thoroughfare."

Perfect for two people. Lots of pubs, restaurants and attractions within easy 5-15 minute walk including ferry terminal for trips up the estuary. Good sound-proofing, comfortable decor and parking onsite. A couple of things to be aware of - steep steps into the property and the internal stairs to the bedroom are a hard finish so need to take care. Plus the neighbouring outside area juts out further so neighbours can see into your property if they are sitting at the end of their decking. The outside spaces are very close generally, so no privacy if sitting outside. However these negatives didn’t really affect us - we enjoyed the stay and would stay here again as very central and comfortable.

Very well equipped and everything was of high quality. My only comment would be that the outside seating area could do with a kick of paint \ good clean & the furniture is a bit worn.

Very comfortable for two people. Great location so easy to walk into the town. The garage is a bonus. A medium sized car fits ok. Lots of places to eat and drink in the town. We had a really lovely stay and would definitely recommend this property.

  • "Cosy apartment in fabulous location, with harbour views, however parking was a bit of an issue as we have a Kuga and it was a bit of a struggle to park and get in and out of the car as the parking bays are very small."

Clean and well appointed apartment, but needs to have ant spray available as ants were a bit of a nuisance. A picture of the outside of the apartment and parking area sent prior to day of arrival would have been helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback and for your lovely comments about the apartment and location. We do send out an information email with photos and parking details prior to guests’ arrival - we are sorry if this did not reach you in time. We have not had any reports of ants in the property before from guests or housekeepers, but we will of course look into this. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us, we hope to welcome you back in the future. Best Wishes Oliver and Kate Property Owner

It is in a perfect location to walk around Falmouth and find everything that it has to offer. It had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished. We would definitely recommend stopping here and will definitely return.

  • "Wonderful location, wonderful view, very clean with everything you could want."

One very minor suggestion, and I’m being pedantic. It may be useful to have a mirror downstairs, perhaps somewhere near the door, for those last minute checks before venturing out.

  • "A very comfortable, clean and well appointed apartment, the real gem was the large balcony with stunning views across the harbour."

A real treat to enjoy the view while having breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Close to shops etc and having secure parking was a big plus.

  • "Everything about our stay was great especially the location and views from balcony."

One criticism we found the small double sofa seating extremely uncomfortable and not good to sit for watching TV. It gave us both backache.

  • "Lovely light airy apartment , spotlessly clean with a lovely decking area to sit and enjoy a morning cuppa."

A nice central area to go visit lots of lovely places. Can highly recommend a trip on the ferry to the beautiful StMawes with a lovely meal at The Rising Sun. Or go to one of the many lovely beaches within a 40 minute drive such as Gyllanvase, Pentewan beach, St Ives-Porthminster beach . There's also the magical Lost gardens of heligan. Just a few things that could improve our stay would have been- a small welcome pack of milk , etc as it was quite late when we arrived. We appreciate the space in the apartment is for 2 but the shower cubicle is small particularly for guys, and the bed is quite small also and there was no dishcloth to wash up with. It would be helpful to have a visitors book with recommendations of where to eat , visit etc as if you don't know the area this would be help. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay .

Thank you for taking the time to feedback- and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We have tried to maximize the space available with regards to the bed and shower- as you say it’s a compact space but we will bear in mind your comments for future refurbishment. I am so sorry the kitchen area was not properly stocked - there should have been a yellow kitchen cloth and pan scrubber left ready for you - I will follow up with our housekeepers and make sure this is not overlooked again. Very comfortable but a couple of things to possibly improve it. The shower needs looking at as it is either too hot or cold. We both had problems with it. A teapot or coffee pot/cafetière, in our opinion, is essential. We had a great stay despite Storm Noa. Would definitely book again.

Excellent accommodation. Very warm in the middle of winter and splendid view from balcony. Easy parking in lock up across the road. The town centre starts at the house, and plenty of pubs and take-aways a short stroll away, as is the Prince of Wales quay for the St Mawes ferry (whose skipper happily diverted to chase porpoises!)..
