  • "This is the best appointed holiday house I have stayed in and was loved by all members of our group, ranging from teenagers, young-middle age adults to an old man in his eighties (me)."

Seating and bedding were extremely comfortable and is was equipped with everything we needed, and all to a high standard, with tasteful decor, down to attractive wall pictures and house plants. Outside the south-facing terrace with comfy seats and tables were well used, as was the hot tub. The situation is quiet and peaceful with a lovely view to the hill opposite, capped with an old Cornish engine house. The outside steps and internal stairs would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, but that fortunately did not apply to us. Water Lane, which accesses it, is charming but has be driven along with care (it is narrow with a ditch on one side!) But it is an easy stroll to the little centre of Peterville (3 eateries) and a bit further (up a steep hill) to the main centre of St Agnes, with shops and more places to eat and drink. It is bit further, down a lane, to Trevaunance Cove, which is everything a Cornish seaside should be - golden sand, rock pools, cliffs and Atlantic surf. There is even a very good pub there! I would also recommend the pub in the nearby village of Mithian.

  • "A fantastic house with great facilities."

Excellent location, near shops, cafes, pubs and beach. The hot tub was very much appreciated. The one slight problem we had was quickly and efficiently dealt with. A great place for a family get together, we were 11 people and 3 generations. Everyone had a great time.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Chyvounder, St Agnes. We look forward to welcoming you and your family again. Property Owner

  • "This home is wonderful."

The house itself is fantastic. Beautiful decor, well equipped and plenty of space to be together or break off and chill out. The outside area is stunning too and the hot tub was very welcome…also maintained and cleaned every couple of days! Great location, steps away from a couple of great pubs/bars and a short walk up the hill to the town. Amazing stay!
