"In spite of the weather we had a great holiday in Cornwall."
The views are outstanding and the history is fascinating. We were very relieved to return to Little Pip late afternoon, our snug haven. The hut is beautiful and well designed for a comfortable stay.Haidee’s attention to detail and design leaves nothing wanting.Everything we needed was on hand.Hot showers and wood burner soon had us cosy and warm. The location is very convenient.Penzance is in walking distance and there is an excellent bus service so we didn’t have to walk back up hill after a day’s trek and we often did without the car.We appreciated the local apple juice, cider and biscuits thank you.Haidee and John are excellent hosts.

"Hello , The Shepherds Hut was just fantastic, beyond expectations Thank you!"
only observation , I would have liked a better supply of tea and coffee and sugar , maybe some other guide books about the area, local walks etc Thank you for the bottles of cider and apple juice very nice . would be happy to share ideas about the woodburner as I have stayed in about 10 huts during the last few years if you are interested. Many thanks Tim Warren

"It is absolutely stunning."
Ideal location with views over Penzance and close to all amenities yet still retains a rural idyll feel. Would highly recommend.

"Beautiful little stay, stunning views, little pip had everything you would need in a little kitchen, we only cooked once in it as we ate out a lot, but could easily cook a meal in it, lovely and clean and cozy, we did find it quite warm in the nights but then we were lucky to stay there the hottest week of the year with heatwave, and I personally couldn’t sleep with window wide open as the flying evening bugs got in, but that’s just me, if you kept bedroom and bathroom window open there is a lovely breeze, bed was very comfy and the shower was also amazing, will definitely re book and return, bumped into the owners once or twice who are lovely and offered if we needed anything to just shout."
Beautiful in the summer but would also love to go back in winter as would imagine it would be very cozy with the wood burner going.

"We stayed at Little Pip for 3 days."
It was clean, comfortable and as described. It is obvious the owner had made a huge effort to get everything just right. The area is lovely and the views were awesome. If you are following the directions given and have got as far as the holiday park, you have gone too far, but you're nearly there! Lovely shower, comfortable bed and oven all worked well. Would I stay here again? Definitely yes. This is perfect for two people.

About the location
GULVAL
Penzance 1.5 miles.
Gulval is a village in the former Penwith district of Cornwall. Although historically a parish in its own right, Gulval was incorporated into the parishes of Penzance, Madron and Ludgvan in 1934, and like Heamoor, is now considered to be a suburb of Penzance. Gulval, however, still maintains its sense of charm and parts of the village church date back to the 12th century. Other features in the village include the 1910 granite drinking fountain in the centre of the square and the Coldstreamer Inn, allegedly one of the oldest. A charming collection of Victorian houses and cottages are also dotted around what was the village square. Why not wander into the centre of Penzance, appreciated for its abundance of palm trees and gardens full of sub-tropical plants, a sure sign that you have arrived somewhere unique. Also people can visit the surfing beaches of Sennen Cove, Porthcurno. Placed of interedt would also be Minack Theatre, St Michaels mount, Poldark country, Mousehile etc making great days out to enjoy
