Your home away from home

Bodmin 3 miles.

Foxglove is a hidden romantic haven, tucked deep within 620 acres of enchanting private woodland on the edge of Bodmin, Cornwall.

A true escape from the everyday, this single-storey cabin invites couples to slow down, reconnect, and immerse themselves in nature’s quiet embrace.

Wrapped in whispering trees and birdsong, Foxglove is intentionally off-grid, with WiFi but no TV, no distractions, just the serenity of being truly present with one another.

Upon entering, the single-storey cabin exudes warmth and charm, with an open-plan living space centred around a crackling woodburning stove , the perfect spot to curl up together after a day of woodland wanders or coastal adventures.

The equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing light bites or picnic fare, while the homely sitting area invites long conversations by firelight.

A pleasant double bedroom ensures two can catch their night's sleep, and the shower room offers a refreshing start to each day.

On warm summer evenings, step outside to the enclosed decking — a private world of its own.

Soak beneath the stars in the bubbling hot tub, sip morning coffee as the forest stirs to life, or share a sunset barbecue with only the trees as your witness.

The secure space means your four-legged companion can roam freely while you unwind in complete peace of mind.

At Foxglove, time slows, hearts open, and nature does the rest.

Bodmin, the one-time County Town of Cornwall with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out. Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small town of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships, The Eden Project and Lostwithiel.
