  • "A lovely place to stay."

So central and access to all amenities nearby. The apartment was lovely. Very modern and chic. Kitchen well equipped, bathrooms modern. The utility room fabulous for all of our beach wear. Beds very comfy and amazing games and DVDs to keep us entertained We were slightly disappointed in the cleanliness of the balcony. Considering this was the height of summer, the windows hadn't been cleaned and neither had the furniture outside. I understand it will get dirty regularly with dust etc but there were lots of spiders webs and hadn't been cleaned in a while. The car parking was also an issue. We have a large estate car and we struggled to park in the allocated parking bay. They were extremely tight and we ended up swapping with a lovely resident who had a smaller car and happy to help, as we couldnt swing the car in without the possibility of causing damage to our car or someone else's. After this was sorted, we literally left the car for the week as transport around Newquay was amazing and the bus stop just outside was so handy. A great place to people watch!

Hi Tony Thanks for staying at whitewater… I’m glad you enjoyed the property and all the surroundings and the space that whitewater gives. I will check with my cleaner about the balcony… i’ve had no other reports previously about the balcony but I pride myself on my guests having a luxury stay… The windows get cleaned every week, and should have been cleaned the week of your stay.. From what I understand, you asked my neighbour who lives there permanently to swap parking bays, which they were happy to oblige.. So parking in my spot was never an issue with my neighbour and it shouldn’t have been with you. Tony as you wasn’t parked in my bay for the entire stay this was a very generous offer from my Neighbour and something you brought to there attention to swap car parking bays in order to help you out and they graciously did… I appreciate your feedback Tony and I hope to see you again soon. • "The shower in the bathroom was leaking but we have let the contact person know."

The curtain in the double room appears to have been broken and precariously put back. It is fine but might fall off if someone pulls the curtains too hard. It would be nice if the television worked normally! You could only watch it through the internet and signal at night time was especially poor.

Hi Heather & Jules Thank you for your stay and feedback. We have tested the shower and cannot find any leak coming through the shower, Very odd, so I’m unsure how you was using the shower, in order for us to find a leak when no leak could be replicated. The Apartment has 2 ways/options to watch TV the first being through a Coaxial cable that is at the back of the TV leading into a TV antenna on the wall behind the TV this will allow you to watch terrestrial TV or alternatively you have a complimentary option of watching SKY, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+ Paramount + TNT sport among others, which we provide as a free service, to give every guest plenty of options… If you ever decide to return to whitewater, I will demonstrate how to use the terrestrial TV but in all honesty no other guests has ever had problems finding this option. I also see no issue with the back curtain.. Thank you for staying at whitewater… Regards Andrew Holland Property Owner

  • "Great accommodation apart from the lift it often refused to open on ground floor so we had to go back up walk down ."

we found as OAP's access to the beach impossible over 120 steps down .not really a sea side town now .no shops in walking distance . no local information in apartment as what to do or where to go.it. The Zoo was over £60 for 3 of us to visit so a no go went to 3 different beaches to find no parking . WE LEFT EARLY as we were so sad and miserable with nothing to do . We left Tuesday Morning not Saturday could not stand it any longer! sat night spent over £30 at nearest chippy it was rank we binned it all could not eat it . not recommended at all for any one but the very young .

Hi Joe… Thank you staying at whitewater and the kind words relating to whitewater apartment… You did pick the hight of the season for Newquay and I hope we see you again one day, and you would be welcomed with open arms if you ever wish to stay at whitewater seaview in the future. Hopefully when it’s a quieter time of the year and not Mid July (The height of the season) This will be honoured at a special rate so I hope you and your family can reconsider the beauties and the wonders of not only what Cornwall brings but Newquay itself.. As I told you over the phone I can not do anything about the weather, the less than satisfactory fish and chips or the price of the Zoo for 3 people.. Unfortunately this is all out my hands.. But there is an information book within whitewater which i suggest using on a revisit that states a whole array of great places and recommendations of places to go, eat and drink (including a couple of good fish & chip restaurants) and most importantly places to visit to make your stay an unforgettable trip with memories for a lifetime in and around newquay and Cornwall itself.. If you ring the restaurant down on Tolcan beach they can send up a car to get you and when they collect you they bring you down to the beach and back up when your ready to go… This is a free service.. I also suggested other beaches on our phone call but you seemed dismissive of any suggestions of beaches that are in the near by area. These beaches would be considered flat land like Crantok Beach - Which has no steps.. There is also plenty of shops within walking distance, check google maps I just want to add 20% of my overall neighbours within Whitewater are of a senior age of aged 60+.. If you ever decide to give newquay, a reconsideration then I am more than happy to get them to reach out to you with how seniors get about newquay and the places they recommend. Hope to see you again one day at Whitewater Seaview Joe :) Kind Regards Andrew Holland Property Owner

  • "We found the property superb in every area, the owner contacted us to inform us that the lift was out of order and waiting for a new part."

I replied to him in which I told him I would freely recommend it to family and friends. We would book it again if we were thinking of that area again. We didn't need to use our car as all amenities are in walking distance.

Thanks Peter, hope you come back one day and you would be welcome back to Whitewater with open arms… Regards Andrew Holland Property Owner

  • "A fantastic apartment with sea view and some lovely sunsets."

Well equipped kitchen and washing facilities (didn’t have to return home with loads of laundry to do) The apartment is nicely furnished and the bedrooms very spacious. Our dog loved lying by the big balcony window watching the world go by and there were some great walks and beaches to visit. Handy for shops and restaurants. This was our second stay at the property and would highly recommend it.

Thanks Margaret, Was lovely to meet you and your husband and your WONDERFUL dog.. Thank you again and your welcome back anytime ;) Andrew Holland Property Owner

  • "This property exceeded my expectations."

The furnishing and fittings are to a very high standard and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, with the added bonus of a BBQ on the balcony. Entertainment was extremely well catered for and went beyond anything you would expect. The location is perfect, being opposite the beach and a 10 minute stroll into town. A car parking space was a bonus, but beware of the low ceiling if you have a top box fitted. Some hand soap in the bathrooms would be helpful, along with washing up liquid in the kitchen. Although above a Tesco supermarket, we experienced little to no noise what so ever. A highly recommended property.

  • "An absolutely awesome time spent at a wonderful apartment."

Really well kitted out, and love the NBA Jam Arcade machine. Whilst there was a bit of noise disruption and dust from the contractors working on the building, this is hardly the fault of the owners. I only point it out as it would have been good to mention in the pre-stay information just for awareness. Otherwise, a great time had by all

Thank you for your feedback and pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. The constructions works ended at the back of the building in November. We would love to welcome you back. Property Owner

Excellent entertainment facilities with access to Netflix and Prime, video games, books and even a record player! The addition of an air fryer and slow cooker for the kitchen is our only recommendation.

Thank you Darrell, I appreciate your kind words and feedback.. You’re welcome back anytime.. Also the NINJA wood fire grill also works as a slow cooker and also an air fryer.. Had you contacted me during your stay, I could have informed you of this.. Regards Andrew Holland Property Owner
