  • "Stunning little cottage absolutely spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated to an high standard and equipped with everything you could possibly need."

We fit the brief of two adults and a small dog and we loved our stay - thank you

  • "The property was easy to find and access."

It is clean and fitted out to a high standard, although the property is limited for airing and drying clothes/towels. The parking area at the front is the only outside space. The living space is adequate and we were able to relax in front of the TV in the evening. We found the bed very comfortable and it was quiet overnight. We did not specific instructions regarding waste disposal/recycling, of the two bins outside one had no lid and the other contained garden waste. It was ideal for our purposes, as a couple staying for a few days visiting friends and we would use it again for a similar period of time.

  • "Thank you for our welcome gifts we did miss the information book that is usually in the other cottages we've stayed in."

Few things could be improved, having a hoover and broom and ironing board also sofa very soft and low.

  • "On the listing it stated that there was a private patio for alfresco dining!"

There was no patio or patio furniture. Only a front drive where you would not want to sit and eat as by busy road with massive tractors and a bus stop outside. We were sold something that was not there as we were looking forward to enjoying sitting out in the evening having a glass of wine, instead had to sit in a room that was quite dark! There was a washing machine which was pointless as nowhere to hang your washing! A dishwasher would have been a better option. The weather was wonderful last week but we were stuck inside in the evenings!

  • "We were very pleased with the cottage but the patio for al fresco dining does not exist there is parking for a car and that is all it would be impossible to sit outside as the cottage is on a busy 4 way junction the bus stops very regularly]and traffic is pretty constant and noisy the weather was warm we would have liked the bedroom window open but it was too noisy as was the lounge window."

also the gas boiler is in a cupboard in the bedroom at the side of the bed and the boiler came on at night and woke us several times

  • "Beautifully restored terrace house in an ideal location."

The only thing we would comment on was the ‘opportunity to eat a romantic meal on your private terrace’ The private terrace is in fact the drive and is situated on a very busy road with a bus stop exactly at the end of it!! No way could you eat outside unless wearing ear defenders! This wasn’t an option for us either way as there was no outside furniture provided.
