  • "We had a lovely stay at Orchard View."

Super spacious well equipped property in good quiet location. Beautiful garden with stunning rural views. Weather was not kind to us but we visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project - would recommend both. Super meal at Polgooth Inn. Would definitely book again.

Location is a good for getting to many places to visit, Polgooth Inn is well worth a visit but if you are eating you need to book first.

  • "Wonderful cottage, ideal for a family of 7 including 2 elderly parents."

they were able to stay on one level with the ensuite and living area, no need to go up and down stairs. Bonus with an extra toilet as well as the bathroom, and ensuite. Having a multigenerational family (elderly parents, plus adult/ teenage children) this exceeded our needs. The garden was lovely to sit outside and read. We had the large living / eating/ kitchen area to all get together. But there was enough space to have 5 mins peace and quiet on your own too! Again ideal the bedroom with the ensuite had a telly. So parents could watch their soaps in bed!! As it was still Covid time, the kitchen was well equiped to make meals for all of us, with Aldi being only 10 mins away. The location was ideal too, next to Eden project, and Charlestown.

The location of the property was excellent with stunning views all around. All of the communication regarding our booking from confirmation to key collection and directions was prompt and exactly what was needed for a stress free holiday. Thank you so much - and a huge thank you to the cleaners at the property for doing such a great job!

  • "Lovely property, well equipped and very clean and tidy."

Good outdoor space with plenty of outdoor furniture. Felt like a home rather than a holiday let. Good location, beautiful outlook and nice and quiet but close to lots of attractions, nice beaches and harbours.

  • "The house was exactly as described, very well equipped and spotless when we arrived."

The owners also left us some shopping and nice treats which created a very positive start to our holiday. They kindly messaged us to make sure everything was fine and that they were available to answer questions if needed. We would thoroughly recommend this property and the quiet location of Polgooth. The rear south-facing garden was lovely and peaceful, overlooking fields and trees. There was also so much to see and do nearby within easy driving distances, therefore a great property location to explore this part of South Cornwall.

  • "A fantastic holiday experience."

Orchard View is an immaculate house with all the facilities we needed for a family of 6. It is in a great location near to several great beaches and quaint towns plus an easy drive to the Eden Project. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and the garden has a good barbeque and great countryside views. We wish we could have stayed an extra week.

  • "The Owners were both accommodating and helpful."

We had everything we need; it was clean and well presented. The garden was beautiful, we enjoyed many breakfasts admiring the view. Hi, We originally booked a holiday with another company, which was cancelled one week before we were expecting to travel, due to a missinterpretation of the covid rules. We then booked with Sykes. Unfortunately on the day of our holiday we were told that we were unable to stay at the accomodation we booked. However unlike the original booking Sykes made every effort to find us alternative accommodation. Which, in my opinion was even better than the original booking Things go wrong, but its how you fix things is testament. Sykes were amazing. With only a few hours and limited Internet connection they did an amazing jjob to finding an alternative. We had a couple of queries due to messages not being received and everyone that answered the phone were courteous and knowledgeable. Re the accommodation (Family of 5) The owners only had a few hours to prepare for our arrival, but everything was perfect. We had everything we need; it was clean and well presented. The garden was beautiful, we enjoyed many breakfasts admiring the view. Orchard view is only a short walk, down an from the local but well stocked post office and a great pub.would thoroughly recommend and would thoroughly recommend the Polgooth Inn.
