  • "Really lovely house, fantastic situation and well equipped."

It would be helpful to have a hair dryer for guest use. I haven’t packed one for some time as they seem to be supplied in most properties so was caught out by this.

  • "I cannot recommend this house enough."

We had an amazing stay at the beginning of June. The house is ideally located and the views are amazing. It was lovely sitting in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine and watching the boats and people using the facilities from the closeby water school. The beach in Rock is beautiful and you reach Padstowe by the ferry which takes a couple of minutes. The only thing that was negative was that the local agents who looked after the property had failed to provide any towels for two of our guests. We told them on the first day and they promised to provide them but didn’t and we had to call again, only to be told that all they had were some hand tails. Two of our guests had to go off and buy their own towels which I thought was dreadful considering it said they were included in the rental. However, this is not the fault of the owner and we couldn’t fault the house or it’s location. Would highly recommend and will be back if we get the chance!

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your stay. We're very sorry that you had to experience this issue with the towels during your visit, we apologise for not being able to assist you with this when asked. Your comments have been passed on to the team at John Bray Cornish Holidays. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay regardless of this and we hope to welcome you back to north Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "'Location very good, very well equipped kitchen and other facilities in the cottage were good."

Bright airy lounge with beautiful views of the estuary.Good Wifi Next door had scaffolding up so views of the estuary were partially blocked and curtains had to be closed on the side window ---should have been notified of this, end of the stay linen instructions not clear, the back of the cottage very noisy with parties late in the night next door. information on arrival not easy to find --a folder in the lounge would have helped. No information on the amenities in the area --would help a first timer coming to visit Cornwall.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. Your comments have been passed on to the team here at John Bray Cornish Holidays and to the owner. We hope you still managed to enjoy your visit despite these issues and would love to welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner.
