  • "I personally would not recommend."

If your wanting a good night sleep the mattress was very uncomfortable, It dipped in the middle and pillows lumpy and seen better days very uncomfortable for a hotel/ apartment I’d have thought this would be a minimum standard to have comfortable bed and pillows . The room was extremely hot understandably, it’s been hot recently understandably nothing you can do however this was unbearable . Only one fan in the room as of which was thick of dust and grime (it was discussing) which as a paying customer I had to clean myself as I’m asthmatic and it was causing my chest to play up so I was really disappointed again that this was overlooked. The room also smelt of curry unsure why but I did not like that. Even though the fan was filthy the room kitchen and bathroom spotless sheets clean and bedding clean . When I emailed Sykes to express my disappointment, as there’s no contact for the actual hotel you have to wait 7 days for a reply. Via email. So if you need immediate attention it was not there. If you struggled to get into the hotel you’d have been stuck put it that way as we got stuck and no one answered the call. (This was tried a few times) eventually we managed to sort it out but not from anyone’s help other than our own and if we hadn’t worked it out then we’d have been locked out . There is no reception here only codes to access. Overall I would only recommend this to someone if the weather is not very hot, if you can access and climb spiral staircase as this is the only way you get to the attack apartment and possibly if your on your own as the bed a double sunken in actually gave me back issues with sleeping with two. But honestly I don’t think I’d recommend it to a friend , it’s a good easy location to the centre near bars and shops but it needs rethinking in terms of comfort such as mattress and pillows . I’d have thought I king would be more appropriate far to Hot on a squashed up Double with two people in the heat .

  • "Nicely appointed apartment in central Camborne with the benefit of allocated secure parking."

Whilst I did not make use of the cooking facilities, there is everything you need if you do want to cook and there is a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. The apartment was clean and the welcome gifts of a bottle of Spumante and shortbread were a nice touch. It was quite warm during my stay but you can open the skylights and the two fans which were provided helped with this. Some may find the access via a spiral staircase challenging and it would probably be helpful if a photo of this was included in the description. The only real drawback is the noise of the seagulls and the pigeons - do they never sleep? However that said, it would not put me off returning here.

  • "The property was very clean and modern, but with a few things to consider before you rent here."

The Parking was a real bonus. It’s a central location and it was quiet considering it’s in the middle of a town. A spiral staircase was okay, but as people have said, you won’t get up it with a big suitcase easily The real negatives were it was exceedingly hot with only three tiny skylight Windows I banged my head several times twice quite badly whilst using the sink in the kitchen The sink in the bathroom is a very small cloakroom sink and only really suitable for washing hands These are just things for people to be aware of

  • "Neat and tidy although headroom is quite restricted and the spiral staircase is very very steep."
