  • "A Perfect Stay at The Cubby Hole, Sennen Cove We had a wonderful stay at The Cubby Hole in Sennen Cove."

    The location is absolutely perfect, with the most amazing views — we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. The flat itself was fantastic and had everything we could possibly need. The facilities were excellent, and the huge amount of crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment showed just how much thought had gone into making guests feel at home. They really had thought of everything, even down to a cooler bag, which was perfect for taking a picnic to the Minack Theatre. The booking process was incredibly easy, and we were so pleasantly surprised to arrive to a lovely bottle of Prosecco and delicious scones with clotted cream — such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend The Cubby Hole to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-equipped and perfectly located place to stay in Sennen Cove. We would happily stay here again!

  • "Amazing holiday."

    Sennen Cove is magical but this property is fabulous and the location is unreal. The welcome pack was very special and appreciated after a long journey. The apartment has everything you could want in terms of facilities including an EV charger! It is a old property and weathered due to location but well kept Thank you ❤️❤️

  • "A perfect property in a perfect location."

    The Cubby Hole is possibly the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in because it offers beautiful views, has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is located between the harbour and the main beach in Sennen Cove, saving the tricky walk up the steep hill that we've had when staying in properties here before. It is more spacious than the photos suggest and the patio is a real sun trap in the daytime. The parking space outside is a real advantage and even has an electric charging point. The most important opinion though was from our two Springers, who give it a paws up and 5 stars. The only negative was having to leave, until next time.

  • "Absolutely lovely accommodation!"

    Everything you could possibly want and more! We had very hot weather but the Cubby Hole was a cool retreat, The Prosecco and cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. Obviously it was cream first as we are from Devon! Hope to stay again!

  • "Delightful ground floor apartment with terrace."

    Parking for one car and an EV charger right outside the front door. Well equipped with excellent shower and fast WiFi, There is a friendly owner. Smart TV is run from an Amazon FireStick; the owner offered me a tutorial (which I did not need) on its use. The apartment is at the back of the bus turning circle; I did not find this at all disruptive during my stay. Lovely views of Sennen Cove Bay.

  • "Such a fab place to stay."

    So much so we have already booked for next year. It was like home from home and so clean and fresh. The bifold doors brought the sea so close. Beautiful cottage

  • "We had a wonderful week, it's a lovely, cosy and homely apartment in a perfect location."

    We couldn't have asked for a better view, the beach is amazing and we enjoyed food and drinks at the Surf Lodge and the Old Success Inn which are a very short walk down the road. There was everything we needed in the apartment and more. We loved the welcoming touches of the lights being on for our arrival, the little bottle of milk, scones, jam and clotted cream as well as a small supply of local teas and coffees. We did have an issue with the freezer but a call to Andrew the owner and the matter was quickly resolved, which we're grateful for. The large dedicated parking space for the apartment was also a real bonus, particularly when compared to the other holiday rentals in the immediate area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit the area.

  • "The Cubby Hole is delightful."

    Beautiful location ! We stayed in November so expected inclement weather but Cornwall didn't disappoint with some winter sunshine. Cubby Hole super cosy with the log burner although one point to add there was no starter pack as stated in the info book so had to trek out again. Not an issue but be prepared if you want the log burner straight away. Fabulous views of the sea from the dining area. Highly recommend The Cubby Hole for a getaway from it all trip. Sennen Cove beach beautiful even in the winter. Thanks for a great stay

  • "The Cubby Hole is a fantastic relaxing place."

    Everything is easy to use with the place so well equipped, you can get settled in straight away. Beds are comfy, shower is lovely, sitting and dining area is relaxing and provision of tv apps e.g Netflix, WiFi, etc makes it home from home. Electric car charging was really easy and helpful but it would be better if there was a day/night rate for charging as there obviously could be making it cheaper for guests. The second bedroom also smells quite musty - again a quick fix but would make it better. Overall a great place we are likely to use again. Those sea views are addictive.

  • "The apartment is well equipped and the owner is very friendly."

    The view is stunning. One thing we would have liked to have been made aware of though and that is there is a turning circle for buses every hour during the day and other vehicles directly outside the front of the outside seating area for the apartment. The buses did wake us up early in the morning. It would have been nice to have been informed.

The Cubby Hole is a gorgeous ground-floor apartment set in the picturesque Sennen Cove in Cornwall.

This home will whisk you away to another planet of delight as the wind gently touches your face on the front terrace, inviting you to venture down to the beach.

Imagine taking in the sublime crashing waves from your open-plan living area as the coffee brews, before settling into the garden chairs to admire the breathtaking views.

After a day on the sun-kissed beach, with the kids and dogs running wild, be sure to settle in for a night in by the crackling woodburning stove, with the Smart TV providing entertainment.

When the day comes to an end, the two king-size beds beckon you in to rest and recharge before another serene sunrise arrives.

If you can tear yourself away from this stunning base, the Old Success Inn can charm you with a wonderful meal and a drink to wash it down with, while a shop for any essentials is also close by.

With Sennen Cove Beach right on your doorstep, you can indulge in all the seaside activities your heart desires, as the breathtaking turquoise waters splash around your feet.

Nearby, The Minack Theatre is an open-air theatre, constructed above a gully with a rocky granite outcrop jutting into the sea.

The theatre is at Porthcurno, four miles from Land's End in Cornwall, England.

A stroll to the famous Land’s End should be on the to do list, followed by a traditional fish and chips meal, topping off a splendid seaside day.

For a day out, Penzance has plenty to do, with Escape Rooms Cornwall to get the brain working overtime or the Penlee House Gallery & Museum for you take in some lovely displays.

That can all be topped off with a visit to the Morrab Gardens as well as a walk along the promenade.

Further afield, the picturesque town of St Ives is worth the trip to view the harbour, then you can call in to see the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

SENNEN COVE

St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
