    Lovely owners, Ian was out to greet us not long after we arrived. Situated in a quiet location just bird song to listen to. The beds, for us, were on the firm side but we still slept well. It was clean and well appointed. The light-tube in the bathroom was fascinating.

    "A wonderful little cottage for two."

    All one could wish for and we had the most super holiday. No noise accept birdsong which never ceased, it was a very special place to stay with very kind and helpful hosts. There is one small, very small improvement but the owners know about this and we are sure will correct.

Unfortunately, the issue of the bathroom mirror being slightly too high for your wife to use if bottles etc are placed on the mirror shelf cannot be resolved. As I explained at the time, the integral light means that the mirror is wired into the electrics and firmly attached to the wall. Nevertheless, if items aren’t placed on the shelf, but put in the drawer under the sink instead, this gives more viewing space or the free standing mirror from the bedroom could be used in the bathroom if required. Chy-an-Oula is a superbly presented, detached cosy cottage nestled into the charming rural location of Seworgan near Constantine, near Falmouth and the Helford River.

This property offers EV charging and a charming garden, and is an ideal base for a couple looking to explore the coast and countryside of Cornwall.

The interior is welcoming and boasts plush furniture and stylish decor, with an open-plan living space with woodburning stove adding ambience as you recline in the sitting area and plan the day ahead of you.

From here, a Juliet balcony frames garden views, allowing guests a backdrop of the woodland beyond.

When mealtimes call, the well-equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking up a storm, and you can enjoy a romantic meal for two at the dining table, toasting to your getaway with a glass of fizz.

With a large garden with sloping lawn, furniture for alfresco dining, and a woodland and footpath aside the stream, this property offers a charming, tranquil vibe encouraging guests to enjoy the sunshine with nibbles and drinks.

Falmouth 7.1 miles; Truro 13.4 miles.

Constantine is a charming, picturesque country village with a few shops, a pub and a lovely church, set among green rolling meadows and wooded valleys leading down to the beautiful Helford River, just 3 miles away. Famous for its mild climate, this quieter part of Cornwall has the outstanding gardens of Trebah, Penjerrick, Glendurgan and Carwinion all within 4 miles. For nature lovers and those who enjoy boats, the misty reaches of the Helford River meander upstream to Gweek, where the world-renowned Seal Sanctuary looks after the region’s many abandoned and injured seals. Falmouth, with its narrow streets, natural harbour and National Maritime Museum is just a short journey by car, while Flambards theme park (8 miles) and Argal Lake with its water sports attractions make great days out. The nearby beautiful Lizard Peninsula, with its outstanding beaches and quaint fishing villages dotting the rocky coastline, has the benefit of outstanding scenery, tranquillity, and some great walks.
