• "Lovely spacious clean and comfortable."

  Our little doggie loved the freedom of the enclosed garden which went all the way round. Would definitely stay there again. Only couple of niggles the bins outside including doggie poop bin were full when we got there and no instructions as to when they might be emptied. Also heating was off luckily my husband is a gas engineer as the boiler had lost pressure which was why it wasn’t coming on but he sorted it.

We’re sorry about the heating being off when you arrived, but we’re pleased it was quickly resolved. Thank you to your husband for sorting the boiler pressure — we’ll be adding extra checks to ensure everything is working perfectly for future guests. • "Have just returned from a 7 day holiday at the above Listing."

  Many things were good eg : Standard of the bed and bedding . However we were absolutely shocked to discover the fridge freezer . It was caked in ice rendering it grossly unusable . Obviously had not been attended since departure of previous guest or even before. We were obviously visiting over a bank holiday with lots of food and found that as a consequence of the abo v, we couldn't fit all our provisions in ! The fridge door inside was broken too. I contacted your office immediately on arrival , as we did not want to be accused of creating the damage - hence paying the bond !The vases were caked in dust too. No soap had been left in bathrooms. I feel that at the price we paid , we expected a higher standard. We have been to St Merryan many times in the past. We would not return to this lodge as we were quite disappointed.

• "Lovely lodge on a residential park close to St."

  Merryn. The park & the lodge are really well maintained & the accommodation was very clean & nicely decorated. It is also really spacious & has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Adjacent parking is just for 1 car but extra vehicles can be parked nearby. There is an enclosed dog exercise field near the entrance to the park which is very useful. I would recommend Lowen Lodge.

• "Could not fault the lodge, it was spacious, clean, everything was labelled so we knew where everything was."

  We ate every night in the lodge, had everything you needed. Comfy beds. The park is locket, everyone was very friendly. Lovely field to walk the dogs. Padstow is such a lovely place, we visited 5 of the 7 bays all great for dogs. We travelled to Looe and Polperro only an hour away, so a great base. The best recommendation I can give is on our last night we tried to book for next year but unfortunately it was already booked for the week we wanted! We had a great holiday and Lowen Lodge helped to make that, it was so lovely.

• "Lovely little gem, in a fantastic location."

  Very much a home from home with all the essentials you could need and lovely extras too! Very comfy beds which is so essential on any break. Quiet residential area which we appreciated. Location is great, very near to a few wonderful beaches and very close to Padstow too. Our dogs also loved the break, the fenced and gated outdoor area was a bonus. Would definitely return.

• "It was so comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated."

  Very homely and loved the thoughtfulness of the little plug in lights that could be used at night for going to the bathroom. Great enclosed garden for our dog. The visitor book was very useful for ideas of places to visit. Great area for venturing out. Can't wait to go there again

• "Beautiful lodge with everything you can think of!"

  So we'll equipped, best I've stayed in. A couple of tips; the bins were emptied on the Friday (no need to put them out). One of the sofas in the lounge is a sofa bed so good if you find the small double a bit snug for sharing. The outdoor locker with windbreaks, parasol, bodyboards, buckets and spades was a fabulous idea! Unfortunately the on-site shop was closed so I'd definitely recommend the owners putting some pressure on the site to reopen. Thanks for a wonderful holiday accomodations!!

• "As we listed in property booklet it's 5 star very smart modern 'pleased to see many usb points ."

  Would be pleased to go the property again. Not so happy trying to contact your office a week before our visit to confirm we could take out King Charles small dog sent an email to your office and made 6 phone calls to your and could never ger though , In the end phoned your new booking line and the lady was very helpful and could confirm we could take our dog which was not lisited on our booking confirmation paper work.

• "The lodge was really lovely, very clean and spacious and well set out."

• "This is a truly lovely place."

  Immaculately clean, everything you could possibly need, (except an iron), so take one with you. The board is there. Parking for 1 car off the road. Very quiet and peaceful. The neighbours I spoke to were friendly and approachable. Central heating accessable to adjust. All facilities were clean and well maintained. The entertainment was good with shop onsite too. The best place in all my years of visiting many parts of Cornwall that I have stayed in. I would definitely return here, definitely use Sykes cottages from now on, wherever I go in Cornwall or anywhere else that they operate. Excellent throughout

• "What a lovely property in a lovely part of the UK."

  Easy access to some great dog friendly beaches within 20 mins and Padstow 10 minutes away. Home from home with the facilities and comfort. We were lucky to have had super weather, but if we had been rained on We would have been were absolutely fine to hang about at property. We had a take away pizza which was delicious from the one site restaurant. Looked like things are on during week in evening of We had wanted them e.g. Quiz, bingo, entertainment.A Would definitely stay again. Very quiet park when we were there.
